Pro společnost Red Hat skončil 28. února fiskální rok 2017. Dle finančních výsledků bylo čtvrté čtvrtletí, stejně jako celý fiskální rok 2017, opět úspěšné. Tržby jsou zvyšovány již 60 čtvrtletí v řadě. Za čtvrté čtvrtletí 2017 to bylo 629 milionů dolarů, tj. meziroční nárůst 16 %. Tržby za celý fiskální rok činily 2,4 miliardy dolarů, tj. meziroční nárůst 18 %.

V balíčku eject, příkaz pro vysunutí CD/DVD z mechaniky, v linuxových distribucích Ubuntu (USN-3246-1) a Debian (#858872) byla nalezena bezpečnostní chyba CVE-2017-6964 zneužitelná k lokální eskalaci práv. Linuxové distribuce používající eject z balíčku util-linux nejsou zranitelné.

Dries Buytaert, autor a vedoucí projektu Drupal a prezident Drupal Association, požádal soukromě před několika týdny Larryho Garfielda, jednoho z klíčových vývojářů Drupalu, aby projekt Drupal opustil. Byl vydán ShellCheck ve verzi 0.4.6. Jedná se o nástroj pro statickou analýzu shellových skriptů. Shellové skripty lze analyzovat na webové stránce ShellChecku, v terminálu nebo přímo z textových editorů. Příklady kódů, na které analýza upozorňuje a doporučuje je přepsat. ShellCheck je naprogramován v programovacím jazyce Haskell. Zdrojové kódy jsou k dispozici na GitHubu pod licencí GPLv3.

Národní centrum kybernetické bezpečnosti (NCKB) vypracovalo (pdf) 26 podrobných bezpečnostních doporučení pro síťové správce. Tato doporučení jsou nastavena tak, aby je bylo možné aplikovat v každé instituci.     Dobry vecer Mam problem rozbehat podsietovanie v ubuntu 9.10. Tunel mam vytvoreny u SixXS a mam aj prideleny prefix. Robil som to podla navodu: IPv6 pre vsetky počítače v lokálnej sieti Mam asi nieco zle nastavene alebo neviem. Neda sa mi to rozbehat. Potrebujem to rozbehat na ntb, ktory funguje cez Wifi a bude sa spravat ako server (koniec tunela, router pre ostatne pocitace v sieti

    Tak si predne over jestli ti chodi tunel, vytvori si zkusebni statickou IP v LAN, nastav routovani a over jestli to funguje staticky. Potom se muzes pustit do dynamickeho pridelovani.

    Nejdrive se podivej do ubuntacke konfigurace site, jestli nemas ipv6 zakazane nejakym zpusobem, pokud ne, tak zkus nejdrive:

    sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.all.forwarding=1

    Pak znova spustit radvd, dokud bude psat tu chybu, nebude to fungovat pro ostatni PC.

    spustil som a znova som spustil radvd a napisalo.

    Tak a teraz by mi to malo pridelovat adresy automaticky ? chcem pripojit dva desktop PC na ktorych je WinXP......

    staci do cmd zadat lent toto ? a potom by sa to ako malo chovat ? autokonfiguracia ?

    no tak spustil som aplikaciu radvd presla bez problemov.... na hostovi som spustil radvdump informacie som dostaval ... pridelilo mi aj ipv6 globalnu adresu, ale vobec mi nejde z hosta svet ipv6 , neda sa pingnut ipv6.google.com .... tunel je funkcny.

    Tak se podívej do routovací tabulky, zkus si pingnout na bránu atd.
    Nezapomeňte si posunout časovače na svých bombách o hodinu dopředu!

    neviem ako este nastavit konkretne tuto vec : accept_ra . Treba to aj vo win aj v ubuntu ?
    a všechny počítače ve vaší lokální síti s povoleným IPv6 a povolený accept_ra (výchozí stav) mají přidělenu IPv6 globální(veřejnou) adresu.

    Davat na ethernetovy segment /48 neni dobry napad. Zmen to na /64 jak v radvd.conf tak v network/interfaces

    Ze ti negunguje ipv6.google.com muze mit nekolik pricin. Jde to z toho routeru? Nebo to nejde ani z routeru ani z klienta? Co rika "ip -6 route"? Nemas nahodou zapnuty firewall? Co rika "ip6tables -L"? Zkus se pomoci tcpdump (nebo wireshark) podivat jestli z klienta na router chodi nejaky ipv6 provoz a jestli neco jde ven tim tunelem (napr 'tcpdump -i eth0 -n ip6' a 'tcpdump -i sixxs -n' [kde misto sixxs napis jmeno interface toho tunelu]).

    Pomenil som segmenty na /64 Z routera to vonku ide , pridelil aj ipv6 adresu klintovi na ktorom bezi ubuntu. Ked na nom spustim radvdump tak prichadzaju oznamenia. Nejde mi to vonka s klienta.

    To jsou dva ruzne prikazy ;-)

    Na routeru v jednom okne spust:
    tcpdump -i eth0 -n -s0 ip6
    a ve druhem okne spust:
    tcpdump -i sixxs -n -s0
    (misto sixxs tam napis jmeno tuneloveho interface, zjisti se treba z "ip -6 addr show")

    Pak z klienta zkus otevrit ipv6.google.com a posli sem vystupy obou tcpdumpu.

    Pak taky na routeru spust:
    ip6tables -L
    ip -6 route
    sysctl net.ipv6.conf.all.forwarding
    a dej vedet co pisou.

    Robi mi to daku neplechu , ked prepisem config

    sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces
    iface eth0 inet6 static

            netmask 64
            mtu 1280
    tak mi po restarte PC alebo network interface vypne eht0 ... da ho do stavu ifupdown eth0 a prepne to na wifi .. (route je ntb). nepomohlo ani

    sudo ifconfig eth0 up

    pomoze len to ze cely config vymazem a potom nabehne na Auto eth0 , ale ja ho potrebujem mat nastaveny na podsietovanie nie ? Asi mi treba toto vyriesit lebo prikaz

    auto eth0 tam musis mit, jinak se ti AFAIK eth0 automaticky nenahodi. Tohle je staticky IPv6 config z jednoho meho debianiho serveru:

    Hned ako vyriesim ten problem s network interface eth0 ifupdown eth0 tak vypisem tie config.

    ked mam v nom nastavene:

    Tak mi to prepne na ifupdown eth0, ked vymazem tu cast od iface eth0 inet6 static ... tak sa to prepne na Auto eth0 ... patram, ale nemozem nic najst.

    mam to takto a stale nic :D ... mam doma router a ten mi prideluje adresy cez DHCP , tak som si takto nastavil manualne ....ale nefunguje mi .. stale mam ipupdown eth0 .. cize mi neprideli IPv4

    Zajimave. Ja Debian moc nepouzivam takze cim to muze byt ze ti nechce nakonfigurovat sitovku to bohuzel nevim. Mozna zkus zrusit ten radek s "mtu 1280" - konec koncu nizsi MTU ma ten tunnel, eth ma MTU 1500, takze je zbytecny mu nastavovat nizsi MTU.

    Taky muzes zkusit tu adresu nastavit rucne:

    ip a add 2001:15c0:6717:1::1/64 dev eth0
    

    Pak muzes zkusit ty prikazy co jsem ti driv psal.

    Sorry ale tenhel vypis neni moc k nicemu. Takze znova:

    1. Spust na routeru dva tcpdumpy - jeden na eth0 a jeden na sixxs rozhrani. A nech je pustene.
    2. Na klientu zkus otevrit ipv6.google.com a pockej az dostanes nejakou chybu.
    3. Ukonci oba tcpdumpy na routeru a posli sem oba vypisy.
    eth0 mam v stave odpojenom ifupdown

    Nevim co tim myslis. Co je ifupdown? Interface je bud up nebo down, ifupdown neznam. Nemohl bys alespon docasne nahodit ten interface rucne pomoci /sbin/ip?

    To vypada ze odpovedi z ipv6.google.com (2a00:1450:8001::63) router nepusti zpatky na eth0. Ale jelikoz se skrz dostal ping request smerem ke Googlu tak ti routovani i packet forwarding nejspis funguje. Nemas nahodou spusteny IPv6 firewall? Co na routeru rika "ip6tables -L"? Pokud tam jsou nejaka pravidla nastavena tak je pro zacatek zkus vymazat pomoci "ip6tables -F" a uvidis jestli to zacne pingat.

    Neviem ci nebude problem stale v tom , ze mam vychodeni eth0 a funguje mi len wifi a na routri (ntb) , vsetky nastavenia mam nastavene na na eth0 a nie na wlan0... ked to prehodim na wlan v configoch tak mi zase vypne Wlan ... nechapem tomu preco to robi ... obrazok je pod tymto prispevkom ...

    Uz se v tom trochu ztracim. Takze klient je pripojen kabelem na eth0? Co kdybys na wlan na chvili uplne zapomnel a rucne nastavil eth0? Neco jako:

    No dobre, ted uz mas nastavenou IPv6 adresu na eth0 (a dokonce na ni muzu pingnout, coz je dobre znameni). Jak vypada tvuj radvd.conf na tom routeru? Melo by tam byt neco jako:

    Hlavne zkontroluj jestli ten prefix je spravne. Pak restartuj radvd a pockej az klient dostane adresu z rozsahu 2001:15c0:6717:1::/64 ("ip addr show" na klientovi ti rekne jake adresy tam jsou). Pak uz by to melo chodit.

    V predchozich vypisech figuruje adresa 2001:15c0:6717:ffff:211:d8ff:fe12:b60d - ta na klientovi byt nema protoze ...:ffff:... tam neni routovane. Radsi ji smaz: "ip a del 2001:15c0:6717:ffff:211:d8ff:fe12:b60d dev eth0" na klientovi.

    WaaaaW funguje to :D :D :D dakujem .... config som upravil taky ako si mi napisal ..... a tu adresu kde bolo ffff som zmazal .. dal som reset radvd a ide to :D ficime na ipv6 na klientoch :D

    To jsem rad. Doufam ze ses v prubehu naucil neco malo o sitich, ze uz vis k cemu slouzi /sbin/ip a k cemu je tcpdump a ze priste si s takovym celkem trivialnim problemem poradis sam ;-)

    Ano urcite to bolo na daco dobre ... teraz musim naprogramovat cisco smerovace na IPv6 a zabezpecit komunikaciu medzi IPv4 a IPv6 ... mam spravit prechod firmy vo fazach :D az k celkovemu prechodu na IPv6 ... :D ... (projekt)

    malo by tam byt Auto eth0 ...... ked mam prepisany config tak ako som hore uvadzal tak mi to hodi do takehoto stavu ...cize mi nechce pridelit domaci router (linksys) IPv4 po LAN prepne ma hned na Wifi .....

    Mam doma router a ten mi prideluje IPv4 do troch PC. IPv6 mam rozbehanu cez tunel na ntb, z neho chcem spravit router a podsietovat ostatne dva PC na setku siet. Vsetky tri PC su pripojene kablom k routeru IPv4.

    No, kdyz se to nakouslo... Ten Huawei Echolife kram od O2 dela neco jako proxy-arp na tom wifi bridgi? Protoze radvd funguje po dratech naprosto bez problemu, zato pres wifi ani prd. :-( Pritom pridelovani IP podle MAC normalne funguje.

    No, nic jako WDS tam u toho cinskeho ADSL zmetku bohuzel nevidim... No, jeste se mi tady vali dva D-Linky, tak zkusim jestli to umi fungovat jen jako wifi AP, treba se to bude chovat normalneji nez ta bila hruza, ktera neumi ani staticky pridelovat IP adresy tak, aby se daly konfigurovat, takze uz jsem i to DHCP presunul na FreeNAS :-) Stejne je mi ale zahadou, proc to DHCP pres wifi pusti a RADV ne. (DHCP relay je na cinskem smejdu vypnuta).

    Takze nejdrive si skus z klienta pingnout na branu:
    ping 2001:15c0:6717:1::1
    Dale si overis routtovaci tabulku na routeru:
    route -A inet6 -n
    A pridas default routu do sixx pokud nemas:

    ip -6 route add default via 2001:15c0:65ff:395::2

    A zapnes forwardovani:
    echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/forwarding
    Na klientu zadas take default gw pokud nemas:
     netsh interface ipv6 set route prefix=2001:15c0:6717:1::/64 interface="Připojení k místní síti" nexthop="2001:15c0:6717:1::1"
