Diagnostika HDD a interpretace vysledku

Ahoj,
potreboval bych poradit s problemovym hdd. Mam hdd(na zalohovani) s ntfs systemem, ktery se v systemu (win 7) po rebootu obcas neobjevi. Tak jsem ho vzal, dal do sveho PC (Debian) a pustil nad nim badblocks a smart.

U Smartu me zaujaly errory na konci vypisu a dale vystup badblocks, ktery je jasny.

Moje otazka zni:
jaky je podle vas "zdravotni stav" tohoto disku? Ptam se pac jsem ho koupil (uz pouzity) pred necelym tydnem a rad bych ho reklamoval (na to, ale samozrejme potrebuju mit podklady). Vysledky smartu a badblocks nize:

Já bych ho reklamoval, na takovéhle "načaté" disky nerad spoléhám.

urcite bych ho reklamoval jestli na to mas doklad, nejspis by se dalo udelat aby se spatny bloky nepouzivaly ale lepsi uz to nebude, jestli obcas nenaskoci a uz to zacina vydavat takovy ty "klapavy" zvuky i kdyz disk nic nedela tak je skoro kaput...

No ja jsem koupil z aukra sestavu i s tim diskem(neni v zaruce). Tedka budu tezko majiteli prokazovat ze disk neni ok. Leda bych mu dal zaporne hodnoceni - to mi ale vadne bloky nespravi.

Co rikate na ten vystup ze smartu, konkretne ty errory?

Ten vypis smartu jsi mel udelat az PO spusteni badblocks protoze takhle to je schizofrenni. Disk hlasi jeden pending sektor a ani jeden realokovany a pak najednou 5 sektoru chybnych.

Jinak disk na reklamaci neni, pokud to budou zkoumat tak ji neuznaji. Ty nahradni sektory tam jsou prave proto, aby se daly poskozene casti realokovat.

Chyby na konci vypadaji na chybu v komunikaci s radicem.

Dovolím si nesouhlasit, pracuji v obchodě s it. a disky s vadnými bloky bez problému reklamujeme, ani naši dodavatelé s tím nemají problém. Zrovna minulý týden mi přišel můj osobní disk, zasílaný s touto závadou, z reklamace.

Ja bych Vas tady zastavil:) Jde o to, ze ten disk uz v zaruce davno neni. Koupil jsem ho pouzity a spis jsem se chtel zeptat zda si myslite, ze kdybych ho reklamoval puvodnimu majiteli tak jestli je pravo na me strane.

A není problém někde jinde? Kabel, řadič, málo šťávy… Žádná relokace ani seek error, to je vysloveně podezřelý. Zkusil bych znova pustit badblocks jestli najde stejný sektory.

Podobný problém ( mizící disk ) mi nedávno dělal PCI Sata řadič, ale podle popisu bych si to typl spíš na disk. Pokud se sektory realocovaly, tak si myslím, že badblocks nic nenajdou, alespoň co jsem kdysi zkoušel. Co se týká reklamace z aukra, tak to je spíš na libovůli prodávajícího.

Tie chyby v SMARTe píše v tej istej hodine ako je aktuálny stav power_on_hours. Vyzerá to tak, že sa chyby začali robiť až u neho... To by mohol byť kábel, ktorý sa povytiahol pri prevoze.

ty errory ve smartu jsou na stejnych sektorech jako je vidi badblocks. K temto chybam nejcasteji dochazi v okamziku, kdy se harddisk pokusi precist poskozeny sektor, trva mu to dlouho a neustoji to komunikace s radicem.

Chtelo by to aktualni vypis smartu, jak se zmenily hodnoty po tom poslednim spusteni badblocks.

No povytazenym kabelem to nebude, dal jsem disk do druheho PC a kabel jsem kontroloval.

Tady je aktualni smart. Minule jsme ho asi taky delal az po badblocku, akorat v mem prispevku maji opacne poradi.

no proti poslednimu vypisu je tu jasne viditelna zmena, Offline_Uncorrectable se zmenilo z 0 na 1.

V tom SMARTe vidno len veci z tej predošlej udalosti - 14227. Teraz tam máš 14238 hodín a nič nové. Skús tam postupne spúšťať SMART self-testy - short, long, conveyance, offline. Vždy treba počkať kým predošlý test skončí, pretože nemôžu bežať naraz. Stav testu a jeho výsledok uvidíš na konci výpisu smartctl -a, tam kde máš teraz "Not_testing".

Tak to veru neveští nič dobré. Dôležité dáta by som už na ten disk nedával. Pri kúpe z druhej ruky asi bude len na dobrej vôli predajcu, či Ti to uzná a ako to bude riešiť. Každopádne, nič nedáš za to, že mu slušne napíšeš. Ja som s ľuďmi na aukre mal dobré skúsenosti.

Poslal by som ako prílohu celý výpis zo smartctl a do tela mailu vypichol túto časť:

Podľa nej disk nie je schopný ani v poriadku dokončiť self-test. Ale asi to bude len na dovrej vôli predajcu. Môže argumentovať tým, že u neho to išlo bezchyby a môže to byť aj pravda. Mohlo sa to kľudne poškodiť až pri preprave.

na vysledek testu 7 neber ohled. Ten vypis funguje tak, ze nejnovejsi test ma vzdy cislo 1 a ostatni testy se posunou o jednu pozici dolu. Da se to poznat z toho sloupce LifeTime, tedy ten test 7 byl proveden pred 3000 hodinama behu toho disku. Muzes se podivat na svuj prvni post, ten vysledek 7 je tam uveden jako cislo 1.

Jeste dodam, ze vysledek badblocks uz neukazuje zadne vadne bloky.

V tom případě je disk OK a chyba je jinde. Zkusil bych jiný konektor, vyměnit kabely, mašinu s jiným řadičem (nemáš nááhodou hrůzu čip jménem Sil 3112?). Taky by to mohl být slabý zdroj a disk se restartuje při poklesu napětí - 12V větve to většinou odnesou první…

Mam ted disk v druhem PC (Debian) a vypada to, ze s nim problemy nejsou(to prvni bylo win7).

Jen mi prijde divne, to ze badblock nejprve nasel vadne bloky a ted uz zadne neukazuje. Aco ten vysledek testu ze SMARTu - mam se bat?

omlouvam se za mystifikaci. Po rebootu se prohodila pismena jednotek. V postu melo byt nasledujici:

Shrnuti:

a) argumenty pro reklamaci

a) Nejlepsi argument pro reklamaci je chyba reportovana nastrojem dodavanym vyrobcem disku. Viz bootovatelne CD s data lifeguard zde a extended test.

b) no ty chyby jsou blizko u sebe, kdyz vytvoris jednu partition pred a jednu za timhle mistem (nech tam dostatecnou rezervu, ty chyby maji tendenci se rozlezat na nejblizsi sektory), tak ti to muze jeste chvili vydrzet.

Dalsi moznost je zkusit prinutit ten disk ty sektory realokovat, postup napriklad zde

Tady jeste prikladam vysledky testu toho SW od WD. 2 ze 3 jsou fail. Zapis nul na cely disk byl podle toho SW OK.

Borcovi uz jsme mail s vysledky testu poslal tak uvidim co on na to.
V kazdem pripade bych chtel podekovat vsem co se podileli na tomto topicu za jejich cas:) Snad reklamace vyjde. A pokud ne tak jsem se apon neco priucil:)

42! :-D Ale vážně. Zkoušel jsi ten disk vyplnit celej nulama (nebo urandom)? Pokud je jen pending, tak disk ještě neví zda je sektor v hajzlu nebo byl jen nastavenej flag, že operace fail (třeba při výpadku napájení). Každopádně ZÁLOHOVAT :-D. Pokud po přepisu budou stále errory, tak asi reklamovat (jestli je teda novej) nebo vyhodit/na pokusy.

BTW teplota 45? To je docela hodně i když 160GB bude starší.

disk jsem nulama nevyplnoval, ale nahral jsem na neho asi 80GB dat(ty mam samozrejme i na dalsim disku).
