Dotaz: samba + dolphin/krusader/nautilus

ahoj,

na desktopu mám problém se sambou - v grafice se nepřipojím, ani nevidím router na kterém samba běží - ostatní počítače na kabelu/wifi bez problémů vidí všechny oddíly a připojí se (win wista, debian)

dolphin/nautilus nabídnou možnost procházení sítě, ale položka samba je prázdná

- žádná hláška o chybě - nic přitom findsmb ho vidí:

Já to ve svym konfigu nemam vůbec a taky mi to funguje.

Jo, jenže yes je, pokud se nemýlím, výchozí stav pro browseable.

browseable = no

používám pro sdílení, která se uživatelům nemají zobrazit, ale lze je ručně zadat a jsou funkční (takže jsou to vlastně skrytá sdílení).

Aha, to sem nevěděl. procházet mi to normálně jde, to je taky to co sem chtěl. Co sem nechtěl, ale musim to tam mít, je public = yes aby sem se na to dostal i z playstationu, sice sem podle všech návodů správně nastavil login a heslo, ale ono se to nepřipojilo a vyhodilo to nějakej jednočíselnej error. Zárověň s tim tam mam u všech share až na jednu (upload) writable = no aby nešlo nic mazat a vypadá to že to funguje (minimálně na win, jinde nezkoušeno). Zajímavý je, že ikdyž to public by měl bejt přístup pro všechny bez hesla tak na win se mi to na heslo ptá a to i přesto že sem mu zaškrt aby si ho pamatoval. Divný, asi ne moc bezpečný (ikdyž sem omezil připojování jen na IP z vnitřní sítě, nemůžu vědět jestli u sousedů se stejnym providerem nemaj taky nějakou z rozsahu 192.168.1.x), ale zatim to dělá co má. Časem bych to chtěl z kompu přenést na nějakej NAS aby to mohlo běžet pořád a místo playstationu dát nějakou multimediální krabičku co toho bude umět přehrát víc, aby se nemuselo každý druhý video převádět. Možná bych moh položit dotaz sem do poradny, jak to nastavit aby tam ten public bejt nemusel a přesto se šlo z playstationu připojit a přehrávat, ale to sem řešil docela dlouho a došel k názoru že to nejde, minimálně ne s novýma verzema samby. Vyzkoušel sem všechny možný nastavení ntlm a autentizací co měli fungovat a žádný z nich nefungovalo.

Tak takovéto problémy nemám :) Používám výhradně security = user (nebo domain), a uživatelé jsou ve windoméně, takže se po přihlášení do Windows dostanou přesně tam, kam se dostat mají. Pro některé soubory, kde jsou potřeba komplikovanější oprávnění, používám ACL, a všechno funguje parádně. Největší průser tohoto řešení je ten, že když se mi jednou po letech stane, že potřebuji úplně vyměnit server, tak už si vůbec nic nepamatuji, protože na to není potřeba celá léta sáhnout

Security = user tam mam taky, s tim sem začínal, ale když sem pak pozdějc při rozcházení přehrávání médií na PS2 přes síť narazil na ten problém s připojovánim, tak sem po dlouhym a neúspěšnym snažení zkusil se tam dostat bez jména a hesla, což šlo, disky se ukázali a error už nevyskakoval, ale nedalo se do nich vstoupit, tak sem jim nastavil public a fungovalo to. To mělo bejt dočasný řešení, ale stalo se z něj trvalý, protože sem nepřišel na to jak to udělat jinak a líp. Ale zdá se že win se pořád přihlašujou přes jméno a heslo (sice maj nastavený aby si ho pamatovali a neptali se na něj, ale na tom jednom počítači se to stejně furt ptá) a tam kde sem zakázal zápis ten zápis opravdu nefunguje. Ale kdyby to šlo, tak bych tam to public = yes raši neměl.

sice je to zde zcela OT, ale k tomuto musím říct, že jsem tento týden instaloval kolegovi nový počítač a dal jsem mu tam jako prohlížeč XnViewMP (spolu s Picasa asi jediný, který lze legálně bez placení využívat ve státní správě). A chtěl jsem mu nastavit asociace souborů (ve Win samozřejmě "logicky" z administrátorského účtu). Takže jsem nastavil pro jpg, tif a další soubory cestu k xnview.exe. Ale ejhle, stejně se to otevíralo v MS Photo Editoru (součást MSO). Dokonce se to v něm otevíralo i tehdy, když jsem pravým tlačítkem zvolil "otevřít v" a nalistoval ručně cestu přímo k xnview.exe(!!!) Nakonec jsem to vzdal a Photo Editor z MSO odebral. Přihlásil jsem se jako prostý uživatel bez oprávnění instalace, odentroval jpeg obrázek, a co se stalo? Zachrochtal disk a doinstaloval se MS Photo Editor…

právě - a nevidím ho jen na desktopu v grafický správcích souboru - ostatní počítače v síti server vidí a umí s ním komunikovat

a desktop vlastně taky - z komandlajny ho vidím i připojím - rád bych ho ale připojoval normálně v grafice

jo a tohle je důležité - ten samba.conf je z desktopu - ne ze serveru

Nikdy jsem z Linuxu samba sdílení nepřipojoval, takže konkrétní radu nemám. Zkusil bych příkaz

smbclient -L host

zda ta sdílení uvidí.

Ohledně kódování češtiny by snad měl stačit parametr iocharset=utf8, pokud by nestačil, tak asi ještě codepage=cp852

Marku, místo toho "host" je potřeba samozřejmě napsat skutečné jméno hostitelského počítače :) Ten příkaz by měl vypsat, jaká sdílení daný server nabízí.

sambu jako takovou nainstalovanou nemám, ale teď jsem zkusil čistou instalaci debianu na notebook a tam mám stejné balíčky (bez samby) - jen samba-common, smbclient a podobně a tam se přes nautilus bez jakéhokoli dalšího nastavování připojím

neběží, ani ho nemám nainstalovaný a neběží ani na ostatních počítačích s debianem

Co s tím ti neporadím, protože naposled jsem Sambu nastavoval asi před 7 lety, ale asi bych se na tvém místě zaměřil na tu hlášku
