On Arch/Manjaro updating the microcode didn't fixed the issue for me. I had to force the utilization of just one core (ore two non-adiacent ones) with
taskset -c 0 %command%
I am also on Manjaro but with a 660ti gpu. The game will display that ATI logo in the intro vids regardless of what you own. For me I was stuck at a black screen after the intro videos. I got around it by editing ~/.local/share/irrationalgames/bioshockinfinite/GameDocuments/My Games/BioShock Infinite/XGame/Config/XUserOptions.ini find this line bHasCompletedFirstBootFlow=False and make it true like this bHasCompletedFirstBootFlow=True Now I can skip each intro with the 'esc' key and the game will work. Maybe see if that helps you aswell.
