Synchronizace PocketPC

Postupoval jsem podle návodu instalace Familiar.

V MS Windows jsem nahrál přes USB BootBlaster_1.18.exe a bootldr-2.18.54.bin a na CompactFlash kartu jsem nahrál bootopie-v061-03.jffs2. Potom jsem flashnul bootldr a zmačknul repráček a současně jsem stylusem provedl soft reset. Tím jsem se dostal do bootloaderu Linuxu - připojil jsem COM kabel nastavený na 115200, žádné řízení toku, 8bit jsem spojil hyperterminálem, nebo minicomem (je to jedno) --- pozor, když se to spojí, nic neuvidíte, musíte bouchnout do Enteru, abyste dostali hlášku boot> --- potom jsem iPaq flashnul z CompactFlash příkazem copy hda1:/bootopie-v061-03.jffs2 root --- iPaq se začne flashovat --- pozor, abyste ho měli v napájení. Když je hotovo, napište jen boot a máte hotovo.

Flashnout to trvalo i se čtením specifikace a návodu zhruba hodinu.

Jádra starší než 2.4.2 nepodporují režim hlubokého spánku -> baterie se velmi rychle vybíjí.

Flashování se doporučuje při plně nabitém akumulátoru a zapojení do sítě, jinak prý může dojít k znefunkčnění přístroje.
