Zasunout do USB a použít modul dm9601 (závislosti usbnet, mii, usbcore).

• testováno na Ubuntu 7.10 (Linux 2.6.22): nefunkční, není podpora v jádře
• testováno na Ubuntu 8.04 (Linux 2.6.24): vše OK
• testováno na OpenSUSE 10.3 (Linux 2.6.22): vše OK
• testováno na CentOS 5.1 (Linux 2.6.18): nefunkční, není podpora v jádře

Síťová karta podporuje jen USB 1.1, ač někteří dodavatelé deklarují podporu 2.0. Maximální přenosová rychlost je 7800 Kbit/s při vysílání a 7400 Kbit/s při příjmu. Při intenzívním obousměrném síťovém provozu klesá rychlost až na 6800 Kbit/s (vysílání) a 1200 Kbit/s (příjem). Hodnoty zjištěny empiricky kopírováním náhodných dat.
