Ovladač je součástí jádra od verze 2.6.30 (více na Kernel Newbies). Firmware lze stáhnout z adresy http://www.otit.fi/~crope/v4l-dvb/af9015/af9015_firmware_cutter/firmware_files/4.95.0/. Po stažení nakopírovat do /lib/firmware

Skenování a sledování programů a EPG funguje v Kaffeine 1.0-svn. Funkčnost HDTV nejsem schopen ověřit.

Testováno v Arch Linuxu (jádro 2.6.30). U staršího jádra (2.6.29) bylo potřeba doinstalovat balíček v4l-dvb-development z AURu.
