Poslední xubuntu - 11.10 bylo jako dostatečné. Wifina má modul iwlwifi, disk ahci, síťovka e1000e. V gentoo doplnit do make.conf VIDEO_CARDS="fglrx". Při resume z s2ram (zřejmě) nutno mačkat čudlík napájení.

Klávesnice má dost placatá, hranatá, tlačítka, mezi velkým enterem a blokem číselným blokem není zřetelná mezera. Lampička svítí jasně bíle, vzhledem k velikosti klávesnice mi přijde, že osvětluje hůř než u Thinkpadu R51e nebo R61. Šasi je celkem ostře hranaté, když ho schovovávam do batohu, je slyšet, jak drhne o obal. Thinkpady mají hrany víc zaoblené. Když mam připojený sluchátka, jsou dost nevhodně připojený vpravo na kraji, dlaní či loktem do nich strkam, vidim slušný riziko uražení jacků.
