Bylo použito Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Remix, zavedené pomoci USB flash disku. V rámci instalace byl bez nejmenší ztráty funkčnosti zmenšen diskový oddíl pro MS Windows a celá instalace proběhla naprosto bez problému. Po restartu GRUB nabídl vyběr MS Windows i Ubuntu, po přihlášení došlo (nebo klikáním Systém>Správa>>Ovladače hardwaru, nejsem si jist) k vyhledání uzavřených ovladačů pro Bluetooth a WiFi, které si vyžádaly restart.

• po instalaci mi nebyly nabídnuty nesvobodné ovladače pro WiFi, bylo nutné doinstalovat manuálně balíček bcmwl-kernel-source. Po restartu už WiFi fungovalo.
• některé Fn klávesové zkratky nefungují
• čtečka karet funguje
• Bluetooth jsem zatím nezkoušel
• webkamera funguje

Nevyzkoušeno Bluetooth, čtečka karet a GSM modem.
