Plug & Play. V případě tohoto modelu jsem nic nemusel konfigurovat, a přesto vše v Ubuntu 10.10 automaticky fungovalo (včetně správy napájení a WiFi).
Pro snížení spotřeby o ~2 W aplikujte nastavení doporučená v dokumentu Jak na Linuxu šetřit energii ve zdejším FAQ. S uvedenými nastavení se dá spotřeba snížit na cca 12 W, což znamená přibližně 2,5 hodiny surfování po webu na standardní tříčlánkovou baterii. (Doporučuji ale šestičlánkovou baterii, se zapnutou WiFi není problém vydržet přes pět hodin psaní nebo čtení na webu.)
Zpočátku jsem měl potíže s tím, že touchpad byl citlivější než trackpoint a nebyl jsem schopen touchpad zcela vypnout. Ve Fedoře 15 stačilo v kcm-touchpad zakázat touchpad, případně si ho nastavit podle svých potřeb.
Na laptopu chybí mj. dioda indikující aktivitu disku. Naštěstí by mělo být možné upravit si chování červené diody v logu — viz např. tento program.
Bezproblémový stroj s poměrně nízkou spotřebou a dobrou podporou HW v Linuxu.
Prodává se bez operačního systému.
