Postup zprovoznění pod Linuxem

Výborným zdrojem informací je http://tuxmobil.org/. Umax VisionBook 835CX je těměř identický notebooku Issam 8080.

Prakticky vse funguje. sitovka je via-rhine touchpad je synaptics usb podporuje usb 2.0 firewire je ohci1394 zvukovka: i810_audio, OSS i alsa externi klavesnice funguje ale musi se strcit do jednoho z dvou USB portu na leve strane notebooku grafika je i810, DRI funguje s ovladacem od intelu display ma 1400x1050, je nutne pri bootovani prepsat video bios pomoci programku: /usr/sbin/855resolution 3c 1400 1050 z http://perso.wanadoo.fr/apoirier/ a taky je vhodny pracovat v 16 bit Depth, jinak se nejak blbe prekresluji terminaly (xterm, rxvt, aterm..) ACPI chodi, lze s nim prepinat za chodu frekvenci CPU na 600 nebo 1300 Mhz, sledovat stav baterie atd. pcmcia chodi s yenta_socket cd-dvd/cdrw mechanika v pohode chodi pres ide-scsi wifi jsem jeste nezkousel, na chipu na mini-PCI karte je napsano: agere T-HS2T a ovladace by mely byt zde: http://www.agere.com/mobility/wireless_lan_drivers.html tv-out jsem nezkousel, ale pry se da zprovoznit zabudovanou ctecku flash karet jsem nezkousel softmodem chodi se slmodem:
