Pokud je již rozběhané usb, tak stačí připojit, měl by se natáhnout modul usb-storage.

Kernel by měl být zkompilován s následujícími volbami:

CONFIG_USB_STORAGE
CONFIG_SCSI
CONFIG_SCSI_MULTI_LUN (jinak je vidět jen jeden disk místo tří)
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_SD

Po výměně média je potřeba 2x pustit mount, poprvý to nikdy neprojde (platí jen pro 2.4, pod 2.6 kernely už naprosto v pohodě).

Testováno na kernelu 2.4.20 a 2.6.0-test9 a jen s několika Compact Flash Type I kartami.
