Cherry G80-11800/11900

G80-11900 jsou mechanické klávesnice (spínače Cherry MX) s kompaktním rozložením do racku a integrovaným touchpadem. Podobné jsou G80-11800, ale místo touchpadu mají trackball (od Logitechu). Také v řadě G81 jsou prakticky identické modely, ale mají spínače Cherry MY.

Existují verze jak do USB, tak starší do PS/2 (jeden konektor pro klávesnici, druhý pro polohovací zařízení). Více k různým verzím v článku Cherry article numbers na Deskthority.

Prošlo mi rukama více kusů (G80-11802LPAEU, G80-11900LTMDE, G80-11900LUMDE) a všechny fungují na GNU/Linuxu v principu stejně.

Zapojit a používat.

Trackball/touchpad se chová jako hloupé generické polohovací zařízení, a to jak u verze do PS/2, tak USB. Touchpad nepodporuje vícedotyková gesta, ba dokonce zřejmě ani posouvání prstem u hrany – vrcholem funcionality je kliknutí dotekem (resp. sekundární klik ťuknutím v pravém horním rohu).
