Kazdy den musim u sveho poskytovatele zazadat o prideleni IP aby se mac adresa zaregistrovala u nej na serveru. Do crona jsem dal

10 10 * * * dhclient eth1

ale nekdy se stane ze se pridelovani sekne nebo nevim co to udela a router zada furt dal a bez vysledku. Jak se to da udelat aby tento problem nenastal?

Jedině zjistit, co to znamená "se pridelovani sekne nebo nevim co to udela a router zada furt dal a bez vysledku". dhclient určitě něco vypíše (z cronu by vám to mělo přijít e-mailem.

Taky mne trochu zaráží váš způsob použití, když si přečtu tohle z man 8 dhclient:

The DHCP client will normally run in the foreground until it  has  con-
figured  an  interface,  and  then  will revert to running in the back-
ground.   To run force dhclient to always run as a foreground  process,
the  -d  flag  should  be  specified.   This is useful when running the
client under a debugger, or when running it out of inittab on System  V
systems.
