Dotaz: nefachci xorg-x11-7.0

ahoj,
prosim poradit s problemom s Xorg.
po upgrade na 7.0 a pokuse o spustenie X zostane prazdny screen, neda sa dostat spat do textaku. pomoze len restart nbk.
pri xorg 6.8 vsetko ok (ten isty xorg.conf). win xp - ok
system gentoo (xorg-x11-7.0-r1); grafika i810, ram 512

Ahoj, zkus pripojit jeste nejakou odpovidajici cast z /var/log/Xorg.0.log, pripadne /var/log/messages.

A co dalsi nova verze, 7.1? Ve verzi 7.0 se take prechazi na modularni X, tj. postupoval jsi podle http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/desktop/x/x11/modular-x-howto.xml ?

este upresnim, ze xorg bol kompilovany aj s podporou vesa, ale nejde to ani ani s vesa driverom.

The alternative fix is to fix the Xserver source code. Find the file xf86Bus.c and comment out the function call to ValidatePci(). Rebuild the Xorg server and try again.
