nvidia obraz na externím monitore

Mám DreamLinux 3.5, nainštalované nvidia drivery 180.29, mal som aj najnovšie 180.22. Všetko sa tvári OK, ale keď chcem nastaviť obraz z notebooku - 1280x800 na externý monitor 1680x1050 resp. na LCD telku 1920x1080, cez nvidia settings resp. cez grandr tak obraz nie je na celej obrazovke ale začína z ľavého horného rohu a je orezaný. Vyzerá to akoby to bolo rozlíšenie 1280x800 na monitore 1680x1050, pričom nie je roztiahnuté na celú obrazovku, okná orezáva ale kurzor ide až po kraj obrazovky.
