Could not connect to wicd's D-Bus interface. Check the wicd log for error messages.Po odkliknutí této chybové hlášky se mi zobrazí: "No wireless networks found." (Nebyli nalezeny žádně sítě). Podívám se do nastavení programu a tam vidím že Wireless Interface není vyplněno, tak jsem tam doplnil wlan0, ale pořád nic. Pak jsem se podíval na výpis příkazu: ifconfig. Zobrazí se výpis eth0 a lo, nikde žádná informace o wlan0. S mýma základníma znalostma linuxu mě skoro nic nenapadlo, ale pak jsem pokračoval a koukl se na výpis příkazu dmesg | grep wlan0. Takže se dokonce ani neinicializovala při startu. Po té jsem vyzkoušel /etc/init.d/networking start. Vypsalo to, že už je ta služba aktivní atd., takže jsem vyzkoušel jestli nebude fungovat /etc/init.d/networking restart, ale nefungovalo, výpis byl takovýto:

Ak máš balíčkovací systém založený na debiane (.deb) ,inak problém je len v chýbajúcom firmware (asi ucode5.fw , pozri sa do dmesg), ktorý nie je standartne v jadre.Pre bezproblémové inštalovanie firmware je nutnosť je mať sieťove pripojenie na internet (napr. kablom ) a jeho zkopírovanie do napr. /lib/firmware/b43
