Mam 2 pocitace. Na 1 RH 7.3 a na 2. Win 98 SE. Mam TCP/IP nakonfigurovane podle navodu na fastlinuxu a Sambu podle navodu na rootovi. Pri prihlasovani na Win se mi napise ze zadny domenovy server neoveril me heslo, v okolnich pocitacich neni server videt a kdyz jsem chtel tu win masinu pingnout, napsalo to "connect: Network is unreachable" Co s tim?

nejspis jste TCP/IP nenastavil spravne :-)
zkuste pouzit prikaz ifconfig,jestli vam ukaze eth0

neskodilo by trochu vice informaci, jakou mate sitovku......
BTW mate nacteny ovladac vasi sitove karty?
v souboru /etc/modules.conf byste mel mit napr. radku
alias eth0 ne pokud mate sitovou kartu kompatibilni s NE2000

V kazdem pripade napred zkuste, jestli vubec funguje zakladni IP komunikace mezi obema pocitaci, nejlepe prikazem ping XX.XX.XX.XX - kde XX.XX.XX.XX je ip adresa druheho pocitace.

Opravdu je na obou pocitacich IP adresa 192.138.189.35 ? To by pak fungovat ani nemelo - zkus si na jeden dat 192.138.189.36.

A druha vec, pokud mohu doporucit, pouzivej spise neverejne adresy.

V praxi napr. - 10.0.0.1/255.255.255.0, 10.0.0.2/255.255.255.0 atd.

Az bude fungovat ping, pak se podivame na ten konfigurak od samby...

uff, opravdu bylo nutne tu dat cely konfigurak samby? asi budu muset pridat moznost administratorovi editovat vase diskuse :-(

jinak chyba je opravdu v tom, ze pouzivas pro oba pocitace stejnou IP adresu. kdyz se podivas jako root do /var/log/messages, urcite tam najdes neco o konfliktu IP adresy.

souhlasim s kolegou, pokud ti ty adresy nepridelil nejaky ISP, pouzivej adresy ze site 192.16.1.FF

Tak za a) ty stejny ip a za b) v tom konfiguracnim souboru to mas z velky vetsiny zakomentovany, protoze i strednik (;) znamena komentar. Pokud si prectes ten druhej odstavecek v smb.conf tak je to tam napsany. Takze odkomentuj potrebny veci (odstran stredniky) a zbytek smaz, muj smb.conf vcetne definice netlogon serveru ma asi 50 radek a slape skvele. Kdyztak se mi ozvi a ja ti ho poslu. A nezoufej si, ja kdyz to delal poprvy tak mi bylo dvanact a taky mi to neslo, ted je mi sestnact a s trochou stesti to mam za 10 minut hotovy.

Tak to si borec. Me je 14. Zmenil jsem tu IP na serveru na 192.138.189.36 ale nevim jestli ve sravnem souboru a ve spravnem radku. Zmenil sem to v ifcfg-eth0 v radku IPADDR=192.138.189.36 ale je to porad to same.

Jeste neco: Na te win masine to pise ze zadny server nemohl overit heslo. Ping ze serveru pise "connect: Network is unreachable" a ping z win masiny pise ze vyprsel casovy limit zadosti.

Nema cenu nastavovat sambu,dokud nejede ping. Protože ty počítače o sobě stejně neví. Podíval bych se, zda je na obou mašinách správně nainstalovaná síťovka. Pokud je,tak bych zkontroloval IP adresy. Pokud máš jen 2 počítače a jsi propojen kroucenou dvoulinko, tak ta musí být překřížená. Pokud máš hub ci switch můžeš použít normální zapojení kabelu.-kabel je nečastější příčina. Tedy aspoň,co jsem já viděl. Snad ti to pomůže

Minimalni kabel UTP ma 4 draty (2Rx,2Tx), jinak zapojeni kabelu treba HardwareBook (treba www.blackdown.org/~hwb/hwb.html), sekce Cables, "Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T and 100Base-T4 Crossover"

Mozna by bylo lepsi si nechat udelat kabel v nejakem pocitacovem krame.

Tak jsme snad konečně lokalizovali zdroj problémů:-)). S pořádným překříženým kabelem by to mělo jet. U překříženého kabelu není třeba hub, switch..

No tak to je garda :-) Tak tuhle story si vytisknu:-) Chlapy jsem odkojen na microsoftu a chci prubnout Linux, ale vubec to nechapu vsechno je uplne jiny a ja se toho dost bojim. Nemate nekdo god odkaz na stranky pro zacatecniky? (Pro uplny zacatecniky treba stahnout nekde peknej manual kde je vsechno popsany detailne a srozumitelne, a kdyby to psal clovek kterej bi to prirovnaval alespon castecne k woknum bylo by to skveli ty vase skratky v Linuxu mi nic nerikaj :-( ) Tomu nahore jsem vubec nerozumel neco nekam zapisovat do nejakejch souboru to jsem naposledy delal do conig.sys v dosu a to je hodne davno pak kdyz se najelo na ty kabilky tak tam uz jsem tomu rozumel :-)) ale dofam ze ten "maniacabel" si delal jen srandu stim kabelem :-)) No mam v masine XP, a ted jsem rozdelil HDD a nainstaloval jsem (PRACNE!!!) RedHad 7.1 tu verzi co kdysi vysla v Chipu (mela tenkrat spatny Bootovani) mam desku ASUS P4G8X a mam kni i driveri pro linux) ale viznat se co se jak instaluje neni tam setup tak asi si dovedete predstavit co stim vyvadim to je samy klikani pretahavani souboru a ono to nic nedela :-))). Chtel bych rozjet zvukovku, USB 2.0, a hlavne sitovku mam tam dve, abych se pres linux dostal i na net. V XP to prome neni proble. to mam zaminutku tam uz vym kam se co zada kam vlozi IP, Masku podsite , DNS i branu ale v tom REDHATu tu bloudim jako lama na pastve :-( tak kdyz se tu nekdo trpelivi najde napistemi nejakej vas tip MOC DIK
