I remember struggling with Emacs when I first started learning to code. It felt incredibly daunting with all the keybindings and customizability. I almost gave up! But I persisted, slowly learning more each day, and eventually came to appreciate its power and flexibility. Now, I can't imagine coding without it. I'm glad there are events like EmacsConf that help connect users and promote this awesome editor.
