S hardware Sun SPARC Enterprise T5220 Linux v základu

Kdo viděl bootování servisní konzole u serveru Sun SPARC Enterprise T5220, toho asi nepřekvapí, že celý proces je trochu podobný tomu v Linuxu.

Při restartu konzole jsem na chvilku nevěnoval pozornost tomu, co se děje před mýma očima, ale text "EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.", zpozorován mým periférním viděním, mi opravdu upoutal... Nejdříve jsem si myslel, že mám přepnutou konzoli na některý ze strojů s Gentoo nebo vlčí mlhu, ale po bližším ohledání jsem se ujistil, že je to opravdu tak... Linux si našel místo i v tak specifickém zařízení jakým je server od společnosti Sun, na kterém je jako OS provozován nejčastěji Solaris.

Kdo nechce hledat, jakou verzi jádra Sun použil, tak vězte, že je to 2.4.22.

Ale dost zbytečné omáčky. Tady je výpis:

...spíš bych to nazval inside-boardem (ALOM, RSC, iLO, apod.), ale právě o to zajímavější :)
To, že jsem paranoidní ještě neznamená, ze po mně nikdo nejde...

Jo aha, teď jsem teprve pochopil, co že to vlastně bootuje. :-) Původně jsem myslel, že "na nějakém novém serveru od Sunu bootuje linux", což opravdu žádné extra terno není.
