Prague's Systems Group team is responsible for integration of Sun's servers and networking equipment into different system management and network management applications.

Sun Microsystems is a fast paced innovation focused technology company. Sun's Systems Group produces microprocessors, networking equipment and a complete line of SPARC and x64 servers.

Integration includes design, development and testing of solutions for 3rd party systems management software products (e.g. IBM Tivoli, Microsoft Operations Manager, HP Systems Insight Manager, HP OpenView, CA Unicenter). These solutions will make Sun's server line more manageable and more easily integrated into today's datacenters. The initial size of the team is 10 engineers with expansion as the business grows.

The team is now actively hiring and looking for experienced engineers for senior positions as well as for talented new graduates for junior positions in the team. Requirements for the positions include:

• Experience with Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Exposure to systems management protocols like SNMP and IPMI.
• C/C++ programming skills.
• Scripting skills: Shell, Perl, TCL.
• Practical experience with system management software and other programming skills welcomed.
• Other programming skills welcomed.
