Postup zprovoznění pod Linuxem

Nastavit (v settings - connectivity - USB) zda chceme užít jako Mass Storage (přístup na microSD), nebo data/fax (modem - vytvoří zařízení /dev/ttyACM0) a propojit standardním USB kabelem (miniUSB konektor)

K organizaci dat (vnitřní i flash) poslouží moto4lin, umí i editovat SEEM. Dále program gnokii -- co jsem mohl zatím vyzkoušet, umí pouze pracovat s telefonním seznamem. Program gammu (frontend wammu - SMS, kontakty, volání) funguje taky.

Při připojení jako modem lze telefon, nečekaně, používat i jako GPRS/EDGE modem. Vyzkoušeno s modelem L7e a programem GNOME PPP v Ubuntu 9.04 -- použita v podstatě autodetekce.

Zkušenost s L7 - musí být ve stavu AT (moto4lin přepne do P2K), telefonní číslo: "*99***1#", uživatel a heslo libovolné (username/password mi to vzalo).

Obrázky a zvuky lze nahrát na paměťovou kartu a přetáhnout do telefonu v případě potřeby (zvonění musí být v RAM telefonu). Při přetahování dat na kartu je dobré obrázky zmenšit, velké telefon nezobrazí.

Co se týče Bluetooth, není problém se spárovat a procházet paměť přímo v telefonu a manipulovat s obrázky, hudbou apod. přímo v ní. Poslouží třeba klikátko v GNOME.
