Dotaz: konfigurace X

Prosim vas mam problem s konfiguraci X na mem AMD64 a grafikou ATI radeon x800. po prikazu Xorg -configure se sice vytvori v /root soubor /xorg.conf.new ale ten je nefunkční a pokud jsem použil jiný z jiné distribude kde mi X fungují tak se mi vypíše error : no screens found. prosím neřešil jste někdo podobný problém a pokud máte podobnou konfiguraci PC tak nemohl byste mi poslat ten konfigurační xorg.conf? děkuji..

mě právě nefunguje ani X -config /root/xorg.conf.new takže tohle nepomůže.. prostě mám špatně nakonfigurovanej ten .conf soubor nebo mi chybí něco jinýho..

problém je v tom že se mi to sem nedaří vložit s winowskejma koncema řádků.. i když to přeuložim v pspadu a už tam ty správkný koncový znaky sou tak to tady udělá tenhle sajrajt..

PSpad to urcite umi, je to rukama a hlavou.

Ja bych zkusil Colas XFree Modeline Generator

Vybrat vyhovujici radku a tu pastnout do sekce Monitor

V sekci Screen smazat vsechny rozliseni u Modes a nahradit je tim v sekci Monitor

Příště to dej do tagu <pre> a teď sem vlož ten log var/log/Xorg.0.log. Stačí (snad) řádky s prefixem (EE).

s tim conf souborem co jsem vkladal je v logu:

(EE) No drivers available.

když jsem zkusil pustit xorg.conf z ubuntu tak se vypnul monitor takže ten s tím asi už komunikuje ale nevybere spránvej port výstupu na monitor.

Z toho co vypina monitor odeber rozliseni "1280x1024". Podle HorizSync a VertRefresh takove rozliseni ten monitor nebere.

Co mas za monitor?

Napada mne tedy: DefaultDepth 16

Mozna je to ale jedno, nevim, neznam...

Do "toho USE" ne, ale do VIDEO_CARDS jo, přesněji řečeno:

nebo radši:

Problém je vyřešen stačilo použít driver radeon a ne vesa. Sice nevím proč ovladače vesa nefungujou protože ve všech ostatních distribucích mi fungoval. A standart vesa ta karta samozřejmě podporuje tak nevidím důvod proč by tomu mělo být jinak. Na druhou stranu třeba v debianu mi zase nefungovaly ovladače ani ati ani radeon ale zase jenom vesa.

jak si to teda vyresil...ja mam uplne stejne problem...a nevim jak na to..mam i stajnou grafiku a podobnej monitor od aceru a stejnej chipset...tak pls o radu.. Diki
