Dobry den, potrebuji radu: nedavno jsem nainstaloval arch lnx base (0.7.2) pak doinstaloval xorg,gnome,gdm a nvidii ,ale nemuzu spustit xka. /var/log/xorg tady je :

a druhy poddotaz, kde sezenu libssl , protoze prave ta mi chybi, abych mohl pouzit links, nebo lynx prohlizec primo z archu

A xf86-video-nv vám funguje? Mohli by ste tiež pridať popis HW a xorg.conf.

libssl by sa mala nachádzať v ľubovoľnej implementácii ssl. Bežne používanou je openssl.

Hm, ešte pridám, že v Arch Linux je program elinks, stačí vám nainštalovať ten.

libssl je soucasti openssl http://www.archlinux.org/packages/files/4138/

co mate za nvidii?...me satcilo nainstalovat xorg a balik nvidia jelo to. mam gf mx440

takze jakou grafickou kartu presne mas hod sem tvuj xorg.conf jaky jadro pouzivas. A co tak zadat pacman -Sy openssl taky je dobre zadat pacman -Sy gnome gnome-extra

Ale on nechce ssl. On chce links. A ten update gnome mu IMO nijak nepomôže, ale pre mňa za mňa.

no to stim gnome jsem zadal jen kvuli tomu ze nevim jak presne tam to gnome cpal kdyz tak koukam tak o pacmanovi nic nevi. Takto to je jisty ze tam ma vse. No a na ssl se ptal tak jsem mu to rek.

Nejprve bych asi aktualizoval systém. Ten nvidia modul je rejmě pro novější jádro.
Věřím v jednoho Boha.

tak to jadro je 2.6.16arch gcc4.0.3 / gnome jsem instaloval pacman -Sy gnome , ale stejne i dalsi balicky vcetne links / nepomohlo ani elinks - porad hlasilo, ze chybi knihovna libssl , tak jsem nainstaloval openssl a uz links jede xorg jsem zkousel vygenerovat nekolika zpusoby /hwd -xa ; Xorg -configure i xorgconfig a nic , poslu ho za chvili/ jinak grafika je GF 5200

takze odinstaluj vsechny drivery(nvidia) co tam mas prikazem pacman -R nvidia(-legacy). Potom zadej
pacman -Sy nvidia nvidia-utils kernel26

ja sem nvidii na arch zprovoznil velmi snadno a podle vaší chybové hlášky bych soudil že jste zappomněl přidat do /etc/rc.conf načítaní modulu nvidi toto byste tam měl mít v sekci HARDWARE: MODULES=(nvidia)

pacman -Syu skoncil konfliktni chybovou hlaskou_ kernel26:/lib/modules/2.6.17arch/modules.alias: exist in filesystem a tech modulu tam je nekolik snad 10-15 diky tomu nejde nainstalovat ani nvidia nvidia-utils kernel26 budu pokracovat zase zitra ?uz neudrzim vicka :)

Nevim, mozna, ze nejednoduchsi cesta je to preinstalovat.. kupi se totiz problem na problem, takze: po pacman -Syu -force jsem doinstaloval nvidia nvidia-utils kernel26 , pak jsem editoval xorg_ktery nejel, ani xorg kozziho nefachci, vyskakuje mi chyba se server layout, tak jsem si nechal vygenerovat novy pomoci hwd -xa , upravil ho a rebootnul, pak problikla nvidia (takze ovladac jede), jenze zase chyba s /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc (radek 28 -twm;29-xclock;32-exec) jsem zakomentoval , nakonec vlastne vsechny od radku 28, upravil inittab , rebootnu . Problikla nvidia, najelo gdm, chci se prihlasit jako user a zase chyba xsession , takze : /.xsession-errors

No ale, nedá mi to: nevzdávaj sa, snaž sa pochopiť chybové hlášky a hľadať na fóre, aspoň sa niečo naučíš. Reinštalácia je hlúpy zvyk z windowsu, v linuxe nič také prakticky nikdy netreba. Ak si teda totálne nezničíš zámerne systém, ale nič také si nespravil…

kdyz uz jsi to dotahnul az sem, tak by bylo skoda to preinstalovat, ne z pohledu systemu ale z pohledu uzivatele ktery nabira zkusenosti s instalaci.

myslim ze bys mel vyhledat /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc - globalni

nebo ~/.xinitrc pro daneho uzivatele a tam zapracovat

nevim co tam ma byt pro spusteni gnome...myslim ze neco exec gnome-session nebo asi tak neco....pouzivam icewm.

no já mám arch a jediný co jsem, pro zprovozneni gnome musel udelat bylo to že v gdm jsem si vybral jako session gnome a bylo nic nikam zapisovat nemusi

A já doplním kozziho, že gdm se spustí automaticky tak, že v /etc/inittab se nastaví
id:5:initdefault:
a úplně na konci
x:5:respawn:/opt/gnome/sbin/gdm -nodaemon
Samozřejmě nesmí předtím zapomenout na pacman -S gdm
Kdo vám tvrdí, že jste paranoidní, ten v tom spiknutí s největší pravděpodobností jede taky.

Hm, nepoužívam desktop managerov, ale nie je to tak, že gdm je démon ako každý iný a stačí ho pridať do /etc/rc.conf? Do inittabu by IMHO nováčik zbytočne šahať nemal…

Ano, stačí ho přidat do rc.conf. Ale nastavit v inittab runlevel 5 mi přijde tak nějak standardnější - aspoň jsem to tak za pár let vycítil, tak mne prosím nekamenujte

Uz me nebavilo si s tim hrat druhy den, tak jsem to behem 3 hodin preinstaloval a zatim vsechno jede, vcetne nvidie, ale nevim, kde jsem udelal chybu pri prvni instalaci, snad, ze jsem neaktualizoval system po nainstalovani BASE. Mam ted jen takove malickosti ...upravit rozliseni gdm pred prihlasenim / jako user to mam nastaveno. A jeste , existuje neco grafickeho na upravu a prirazeni uzivatelu do skupin pod gnome?

Ale jinak DIKY vsem , co prispeli do tohoto fora.

rozliseni jsem vyresil editaci xorg (smazanim dlouheho vypisu modeline v sekci monitor)

jen mi jeste prozradte jak dohledavate balicky, a treba chybejici knihovny (pokud se mi stane neco jako pri prvni instalaci s tim links_em a chybejici libssl)

treba amarok pacman nenajde, tak jsem zkusil
pacman -Ss amarok
a ten nasel amarok-base, tak tedy to shrnu, jsou nejake problemy s balicky? popr jak je resite?to je otazek co? ale zda se , ze pacman jede jako das :)

-Ss podporuje regulárne výrazy a vyhľadáva aj v popisoch, takže je len malá šanca, že nenájdete, čo hľadáte. Ak sa tak napriek tomu stane, máte možnosť pridať repozitár balíčkov (napríklad unstable, ktorý spomínal kozzi, ale to ja nedoporučujem; čo doporučujem je community). -Ss potom bude hľadať aj tam. A nakoniec je tu AUR, odkiaľ môžete sťahovať balíčky pridané komunitou. Prípadne ich pridávať sám, nie je to nič zložité.

Každopádne si prečítajte tieto inštrukcie, hlavne časť 15, ale zíde sa vám to celé. Prajem veľa zdaru ;-)

no řeknu to tak pokud si zapneš community repositare tak bude jen malo balicku ktere nebudes mit k dispozici. Ty doinstalujes tak ze zandes na aur.archlinux.org/packages.php a do vyhledavani zadas nazev balicku ktery chces. pokud ho najde(coz je pravdepodobne) tak si ztahnes tarball ten rozbalis do /usr/abs/local/ potom v konzoli vlezes do rozbaleneho tarballu a zadas makepkg (samozrejme jako root) to ti vygeneruje balicek ten pak nainstalujes prikazem pacman -U nazev_balicku.tar.pkg.gz. No a je to. Jinak vyroba balicku je taky snadna.

kdyz uz jsme u baliku, obcas je v uzivatelskem repozitari jenom cvs cesta. existuje nejaky pohodlny zpusob jak si stahnout ty veci z cvs na disk?

ja to delam tak, ze si rucne vytvorim pres schranku soubory z weboveho cvs rozhrani...coz me moc nebavi..

pockat to vypada ze jsi nepochopil jak to funguje v tom uzivatelskym repozitari si nemas klikat na ten odkaz (at uz to je tarball nebo cvs) ale mas kliko¨nout na ten odkaz pojmenovany tarball(vedle neho je napsano files a vedle toho je PKGBUILD) takze stahnout ten tarball ale ne zdroje. no a postupovat tak jakjsem psal proste ho rozbalit vlez do toho rozbaleneho a jako root zadat makepkg -s (-ten parametr -s zname ze kdyz chybi nejaky zavislosti tak se automaticky stahnou.) jo a jinak pokud chces stahovat neco z cvs tak se to nedali pres web ale pomoci programu cvs

  cvs -z3 -d :pserver:cvs:cvs@cvs.winehq.org:/home/wine co wine
tak takle se to pouziva nejak na kazdych strankach kde si muzes stahnout neco pres cvs je navod
