Dotaz: FC6: Problém s Xorg na notebooku ASUS A6500U (@[SiS] 661/741/760)

Čau všichni!

Včera jsem se jal přeinstalovat notebook ASUS A6500U na FC6 (i386). Vše proběhlo v pohodě. Po rebootu (implicitní runlevel je po instalaci 5) a pokusu přejít do grafického režimu vše okamžitě zatuhne (uplně natvrdo, nereaguji ani caps/num locky). V chrootovaném rescue režimu po nabootování z DVD lze spustit setup a nastavení X, nicméně po opětovném rebootu a pokusu spustit X vše okamžitě zatuhne. V logu nic podezřelého vidět není, po marném odpoledním a večerním boji jsem to vzdal. Spouštění X z běhové úrovně číslo 3 má stejný efekt. Z runlevelu 3 nejde ani spustit setup/konfigurace X.

Nemá prosím někdo podobnou zkušenost?

No jo sis chipset je problem... Boužel se mě týká taky, jestli už ste to někdo roschodil, tak pošlete náký návod jak.. THX

No tak to nechte v runlevelu 3 a po startu X ek a po zatuhu restartu skontrolujte log X ek zda se tam zapsala nějaká chyba. (/var/log/Xorg.0.log a další...)

Taky můžete kompletně smazat xorg.conf (X server ho nepotřebuje a použije defaul hodnoty zda to náhodou nenaběhne) a skusit co to vypíše za chyby.
