Dotaz: baterie v openSUSE

baterie v openSUSE

Ahoj, po instalaci openSUSE 10.3 mi nefunguje indikator baterie. Tedy, ze OS si stale mysli, ze jsem pripojen k el. siti, i kdyz jedu z baterky. V Ubuntu mi to fungovalo v pohode, takze problem bude nekde v distribuci. Rad bych podal blizsi informace, ale nevim konkretne co by pomohlo, takze kdyztak dodam pozdeji na vyzadani. Dik za pomoc.

Jinak mam ACER TravelMate 4501WLMi http://www.abclinuxu.cz/hardware/sestavy/notebooky/acer/acer-travelmate-4501wlmi .

Zkoušel jsi modprobe sbs, respektive co napíše lsmod | grep sbs? Co píše cat /proc/acpi/battery/*/state s odpojenou, zapojenou baterií. A totéž i pro soubor /proc/acpi/battery/*/info ale jen se zapojenou materií.

Ahoj, tak to lsmod | grep sbs mi v konzoli vyhodi todle: sbs 22664 0

Co se tyce toho cat /proc/acpi/battery/*/state a /proc/acpi/battery/*/info tak v adresari battery nic nemam. Jako dukaz tady hodim vypis z konsole (asi to neni prilis unixove, ale aspon ze mam jeste zkusenosti z DOSu :) ).

A posledni vec. Jestli jsem zkousel modprobe sbs. Nezkousel. Ale zkusil jsem to ted a napsalo to bash: modprobe: command not found. Tak ja zkusim to mobprobe nainstalovat a pak uvidime.

Tak to modprobe bych nainstalovane mel mit, tak nevim proc to nejde. Zkousel jsem to i jako superuzivatel a pise to to same.

Ničeho, neboť pomcí toho lsmod jsme zjistili, že modul už v jádře je... A máš nahraný modul battery? Pošli sem celý výpis lsmod, lspci a dmesg. Díky.

Tak uz jsem si to vyresil. Zde i reseni, kdyby se to nekomu hodilo:

Podarilo se mi nainstalovat novejsi kernel, konkretne 2.6.23.1, a ted uz podpora baterky bezi bez problemu. Predtim jsem mel 2.6.22.5 myslim.
