Zdravim,

dostal jsem
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Quadro NVS 290 (rev a1)
Stahnul jsem a prelozil drivery NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-169.12-pkg2.run driver se nainstaluje, pouzije, ale kdyz mu zadam twinview do konfiguraku:

Z te karty leze jen jeden konektor, ktery je rozvetven na 2 DVI. Nevite nekdo co s tim? Akcelerace na tom jednom monitoru co je rozpoznan funguje...

Hmm, ani tam to nevidím. Pokud je ta grafika v notebooku, navrhuju zkusit zapojit druhý monitor až během bootování Linuxu.

Sám mám BIOS s úchvatnou funkcí, která si zabere pro sebe druhý monitor, pokud je zapojen za bootu - BIOS ten montior před grafickou kartou (až do rebootu) skryje a "díky" tomu funguje "úžasná" funkce, kdy se dá HW klávesou mezi monitory přepínat.

podle mě je problém v tom rozvětveném konektoru, něco podobného jsem viděl pouze na Matroxu a jelo to jen pod woknama... Nemá ta karta ne sobě dva konektory přímo?

ještě jsem zagooglil a ZDE jsem se dočetl:

Dual link DVI video cards: (i.e. Quadro FX) The nVidia graphics cards with a single "dual link" DVI interface (also known as DVI-DL) are used for a single very high resolution screen or can be used to drive two analog monitors. The "dual link" DVI connector has many more pins than the traditional "single link" DVI connector. These graphics cards can use a "Y" connector from the single "dual link" DVI output to two analog VGA connectors to drive two monitors. The configuration is the same as the "TwinView" configuration detailed above except that one must specify: Option "ConnectedMonitor" "CRT,CRT"

DFP,DFP umozni mit na jednom 1280x1024 a na druhem 640x480. To nechapu, kdyz v analogu je monzo 1280x1024 na obouch...ze by chyba v driveru?
