Dotaz: Barvy ve výstupu příkazu wall?

Zdravím, existuje způsob, jak přinutit wall, aby uživatelům poslal barevný text? Klasické escape sekvence to normálně vypíše jako text. Důvod je jasný - warning je potřeba červeně :)

Podle manualu u write:

BUGS
     The sender's LC_CTYPE setting is used to determine which characters are
     safe to write to a terminal, not the receiver's (which write has no way
     of knowing).
