Dotaz: gentoo+cups+gimp-print+BJC-250

Narazil jsem na problem s tiskem. podle navodu na

http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/printing-howto.xml

jsem nainstaloval cups a vse ostatni. Kdyz ale chci tisknout nic se nevytiskne. Pri tom low-level prikazy funguji:

na forums.gentoo.org jsem se dozvedel, ze by mohlo stacit prekompilovat ghostscripts, ale to nepomohlo.

Nezabudol si na USE="cups foomaticdb ppds" pri kompilácii?

to uz nevim, ale nakonec se mi to podarilo rozbehat k moji spokojenosti, nicmene strasne pomalu to tiskne. predtim ve slacku to valilo o poznani rychleji. nevim cim to je, ale asi to preziju do doby nez si koupim normalni tiskarnu a ne takovej woknarskej val

Tato tiskarna mi fungovala s driverem na BJC-610 (asi). Barevny tisk nesel vubec, cernobily OK.

Dost! záleží na použitém ppd souboru a gimp-print je určen k tisku obrázků, proto je pomalý. Nainstaluj foomatic a použij jeho ppd soubor(y).

tak jeste k foomatic. puvodne jsem pres to tisknout chtel, ale to bohuzel nefunguje. testovaci stranka (nebo jakakoli jina) se odesle, ale nic se nestane. vyzkousel jsem vsechny "ovladace" pro mou tiskarnu, ale bezvysledne. Proto jsem zkusil gimp-print. ten jede vpohode ...
