Dotaz: problémy s jádrem při instalací nVidia

Fedora Core 6 / GeForce4Ti

Při instalaci nVidia driveru narazil jsem na problémy:

1) nebyl nalazen kernel interface

2) nebyl nalezen kernel source + kernel-devel RPM

Jak vyřeším ten problém s jádrem?

Jako by se to tu neřešilo stále dokola týden co týden.

Ale když už někoho kárám, tak mu zrovna i poradím nebo mu pošlu odkazy na řešní problému. Jest-li chceš mít pouze jízlivé poznámky bez sebemenší informační hodnoty, tak to laskavě neventiluj do fóra.

Vpravo nahoře je formulář na hledání; diskuzí, kde se to řešilo jsou tu desítky; vyšel tu o tom i článek; je to snad už i ve FAQ. Ptát se na to znovu je rozhodně horší, než autora upozornit, že je tu i funkce hledání. Pokud se někdo zeptá na to samé znovu, opět zareaguji stejně.

Instalátor nenašel hlavičkové soubory k běžícímu jádru. Hledá je v /usr/src/linux-$(uname -r). Jestliže je máš na jiné cestě specifikuj je pomocí volby --kernel-source-path.

Pod FC6 netřeba nic upravovat a specifikovat instalačka od nvidie to najde sama.

Třeba mět balíčky kernel-headers a kernel-devel.

Jinak v ovladačích od nvidia je ještě chyba (nevím zda ji už neodstranily) používají soubor config.h který byl z jádra odstraněn jako zastaralý.

Vyřešení zde: error: linux/config.h: není souborem ani adresářem
