    Fossil (Wikipedie) byl vydán ve verzi 2.24. Jedná se o distribuovaný systém správy verzí propojený se správou chyb, wiki stránek a blogů s integrovaným webovým rozhraním. Vše běží z jednoho jediného spustitelného souboru a uloženo je v SQLite databázi.

    Byla vydána nová stabilní verze 6.7 webového prohlížeče Vivaldi (Wikipedie). Postavena je na Chromiu 124. Přehled novinek i s náhledy v příspěvku na blogu. Vypíchnout lze Spořič paměti (Memory Saver) automaticky hibernující karty, které nebyly nějakou dobu používány nebo vylepšené Odběry (Feed Reader).

    OpenJS Foundation, oficiální projekt konsorcia Linux Foundation, oznámila vydání verze 22 otevřeného multiplatformního prostředí pro vývoj a běh síťových aplikací napsaných v JavaScriptu Node.js (Wikipedie). V říjnu se verze 22 stane novou aktivní LTS verzí. Podpora je plánována do dubna 2027.

    Ahoj vsichni,
    potreboval bych nutne poradit. Uz nekolik dni mi bez zjevne priciny tuhne server cca 2-3x denne (nereaguje ani na lokalni kozoli - je mozny jedine tvrdy reset). V logach jsem neobjevil nic neobvykleho (bezne pristupy k SMB daemonovi, ssh klienti, nekolik zahozenych nesmyslnych packetu, par neuspesnych slovnikovych utoku). Mam podezreni na hardware nebo na problemy v souborovem systemu. Memtest neodhalil nic. Filesystem je EXT3 bezici na RAID 5 s LVM. Na tomto stroji je poukladane velke mnozstvi souboru o velikosti cca 0.5 - 5 MB (celkem asi 500 GB). Umeli by jste mi poradit, jakym zpusobem nejlepe postupovat pri hledani priciny? Jadro 2.4.31, distribuce Slack 10.1, zvenku je viditelne pouze SSH v4.2, celkove je stroj aktualne ozaplatovany.

    Diky moc za jakoukoliv radu.

    Podobne tuhnuti "bez priciny" jsem resil taky a na vine byly poskozene kondenzatory na desce - nektere jen nafouknute, jine uz i tekly. Projev byl podobny - start ok, pak chvili normalni beh a pak seknuti. Po resetu totez.

    Zkus se podivat dovnitr, zda tam nemas viditelne poskozene kondenzatory. Ja od te doby pravidelne kontroluji desku.

    No koukal jsem na ne a kolem procesoru jich nekolik mirne nafouklych je (nevim ale, kde je ta hranice pouzitelnosti). Nemate nejaky tip jak zjistit, jestli ta deska prokazatelne generuje nejake chyby?

    Ja k tomu zadny SW nastroj nenasel (ono to ani nejak merit nelze, bud je pc stabilni ci neni - na stabilitu lze pouzit nejaky zatezovy test), ale znamy mi je premeril multimetrem a byly hodne pod udavanou kapacitu, takze mi je preletoval - chce to trochu lepsi vybaveni nez jen pajku. Jinak dalsi moznost je vymena desky.

    Po vymene kondiku pak bylo zase vse ok. Takze pokud jsou nabehle, tak bych to videl na problem s HW. Pokud je komponent v zaruce, muzete ho taky reklamovat - je to vyrobni vada.

    No v zaruce uz neni, je to dvouprocesor PIII. Jen mi nahani hruzu, ze bych to s vymenou serveru musel preinstalovavat... Pro uplnost jeste dodavam, ze casto pri vytuhnuti toho stroje pres celou obrazovku vypise hlasky APIC error (a za tim jeste nejake upresneni s CPU) - pokud tedy APIC nevypnu parametrem pri nacitani jadra. Pak to vytuhne uplne a monitor zcerna.

    No jak jsem psal, pokud nabootuju bez APIC, tak to zamrzne taky. Puvodne to nedelalo problemy ani s APIC fungujicim.
