Dotaz: Jak nastavit Postfix, aby nelogoval do syslogu?

Snažím se nastavit Postfix/syslog tak, aby nelogoval do syslogu, ale nekam jinam.

V syslog.conf mam nastavene:

mail.* -/var/log/mail.log

mail.info -/var/log/mail.info mail.warn -/var/log/mail.warn mail.err /var/log/mail.err

Do techto souboru Postfix opravdu loguje.

Ale porad je hodne zapisu v syslogu (postfix/pickup, postfix/cleanup, postfix/qmgr), to bych chtel presunout jinam.

zkousel jsem pridat

mail.qmgr -/var/log/mail.qmgr mail.local -/var/log/mail.local mail.cleanup -/var/log/mail.cleanup mail.pickup -/var/log/mail.pickup

ale nefunguje to.

"Do syslogu" je IMHO neobratné vyjádření "pomocí syslog daemona". Takže "nelogovat do syslogu" by mělo znamenat logovat někam mimo syslog daemona, např. do databáze. Pak ale čtu "syslog.conf mam nastavene", což popisuje logování pomocí syslogu. Jde tedy o to, aby to syslog zapisoval do jiného souboru?

asi taky, akorat u mne (Ubuntu 10.04) se ten soubor jmenuje "syslog", takze lip pojmenovat to neumim

A jeste jedna vec. Ta konfigurace by take nemusela byt syntakticky spravna (fakt si nejsem jisty, jak zrovna Tvuj syslog reaguje na zjevne ptakoviny jako prioritu 'qmgr'). Hlasi ten syslog daemon neco pri startu?
