    Microsoft zveřejnil na GitHubu zdrojové kódy MS-DOSu 4.0 pod licencí MIT. Ve stejném repozitáři se nacházejí i před lety zveřejněné zdrojové k kódy MS-DOSu 1.25 a 2.0.
