Programátoři se mohou potrápit při řešení úloh z kalendáře Advent of Code 2016. Byla vydána Mageia 5.1. Jedná se o první opravné vydání verze 5, jež vyšla v červnu loňského roku (zprávička). Uživatelům verze 5 nepřináší opravné vydání nic nového, samozřejmě pokud pravidelně aktualizují. Vydání obsahuje všechny aktualizace za posledního téměř půldruhého roku. Mageia 5.1 obsahuje LibreOffice 4.4.7, Linux 4.4.32, KDE4 4.14.5 nebo GNOME 3.14.3.

Joinup informuje, že Mnichov používá open source groupware Kolab. V srpnu byl dokončen dvouletý přechod na toto řešení. V provozu je asi 60 000 poštovních schránek. Nejenom Kolabu se věnoval Georg Greve ve své přednášce Open Source: the future for the European institutions (SlideShare) na konferenci DIGITEC 2016, jež proběhla v úterý 29. listopadu v Bruselu. Videozáznam přednášek z hlavního sálu je ke zhlédnutí na Livestreamu.

Společnost Jolla oznámila v příspěvku Case study: Sailfish Watch na svém blogu, že naportovala Sailfish OS na chytré hodinky. Využila a inspirovala se otevřeným operačním systémem pro chytré hodinky AsteroidOS. Použita je knihovna libhybris. Ukázka ovládání hodinek na YouTube.

Byla vydána verze 7.1.0 skriptovacího jazyka PHP používaného zejména k vývoji dynamických webových stránek. Jedná se o první stabilní verzi nejnovější větvě 7.1. Přehled novinek v dokumentaci. Podrobnosti v ChangeLogu. K dispozici je také příručka pro přechod z PHP 7.0.x na PHP 7.1.x.

Google Chrome 55 byl prohlášen za stabilní. Nejnovější stabilní verze 55.0.2883.75 tohoto webového prohlížeče přináší řadu oprav a vylepšení (YouTube). Opraveno bylo také 36 bezpečnostních chyb. Mariusz Mlynski si například vydělal 22 500 dolarů za 3 nahlášené chyby (Universal XSS in Blink).

Raspberry pi a wifi ralink RT5370

Zdravím všechny,
mám tu malinu verze A, zprovozňuju ji s wifi kartou a řeším tu takovou záludnost. S kartou atheros při startu naběhne, připojí se a všechno OK, až na ty rozměry.
Horší je to s ralinkem RT5370, kterej je příjemně maličkej, ale při startu se ne a ne zinicializovat, wlan0 to prostě neobjeví, dokud kartu nevytáhnu a zase nezandám. Pak teprve, ale už jen ručně se s ní dá připojit k síti. Nemá někdo tip, jak tohle vyřešit? Díky.
Dokud to funguje, nešťourej se v tom!... Jak opravit vadnou SD kartu

Napadá mě, jestli není ten ralink o něco žravější. Když při startování je spotřeba komponent o něco vyšší, nemusí se třeba dostat dost energie pro wifi kartu.

To by spíš kleklo, ale prověřím, projíždím net, "error -71" je evidentně dost častej úkaz.

Vyskusaj loading Ralink ovladaca s nejakym oneskorenim.

Pre vacsi prud ako 100mA na USB port si musi zariadenie (jeho ovladac) poziadat subsystem spravy energie o pozadovany nasobok nepresahujuci 5 nasobok zakladneho nastavenia. Je mozne, ze prave tuto operaciu Ralink ovladac nerobi. Sprava energie pre USB porty moze byt upravena na maximum az po naloadovani Ralink ovladaca. Preto, to moze po znova zasunuti fungovat normalne.

Napájení už můžu definitivně vyloučit, +5V na USB je natvrdo spojeno s napájecím konektorem, pojistku jsem vyřadil a použil 3A zdroj s krátkým kablíkem.
Různé optiony do /boot/cmdline.txt taky nezabírají, bude muset nastoupit plán B.
Jak vyresetovat USB včetně všech zařízení k němu připojených? To by mohlo pomoct, připojení k síti už se pak vyřeší skriptem.

Ja sice neviem ako je na RPi spraveny power managament USB radica, ale je mozne, ze napajanim natvrdo nevyriesis komunikaciu adaptera s radicom USB, ktory do adapteru posiela tie iste udaje nezavisle na tom ako si upravil napajanie za radicom. Daj si tam USB HUB a monitoruj komunikaciu dalsim pocitacom s Wiresharkom. Mozno na nieco prides. Doporucujem si dat ten adapter na klasicky pocitac s Linuxom a vypisat si parametre po zadani: lsusb -d IdVendor:IdProduct -v a porovnat ich potom s RPi.

Mám Raspberry A + Ralink RT5370 připojený přímo do USB portu. Zdroj mám poněkud předimenzovaný 2A noname. Funguje mi to všechno bez problémů ihned po startu. A nevzpomínám si, že bych někde něco nastavoval.

To mi kdysi taky fungovalo, dokonce jsem s raspberkem měl udělanej wifi repeater s 2xRT5370, ale v aktuální verzi raspbianu prostě ne.
Ještě zkusím, jestli arch linux arm nenabídne řešení.

Tak mám zase informaci navíc, dělá to i s archlinuxem, akorát se to po opětovným vložení wifi karty nikdy nerestartuje, raspbian skoro pokaždý i s napájeným hubem. Nemá někdo tip, jak restartovat za provozu usb?

Vyskusaj popatrat preco ti USB radic detekoval pripojenu kartu na nizkej rychlosti zbernice.

Po Windowsacky zrejme ako USB1.1 namiesto USB2.0

Nemas ho nahodou v mass-storage rezime ?

Zdravím,

zrovna tento týden jsem konfiguroval RPi B pro stejnou kartu v systému Raspbian. Po vložení karty se také restartoval. Navíc jsem potřeboval mód ad-hoc, který za žádnou cenu nechtěl najet. Nakonec jsem to vyřešil malými úpravami konfig. souborů:

- zavedení modulu při bootu: Do /etc/modules přidat řádek s názvem modulu: rt2800usb

- Problém s démonem ifplugd - blokoval přístup ke kartě. V mém případě nešlo změnit mód na ad-hoc (System or resource busy). Myslím si, že to byl největší problém. Vyřešeno změnou konfigurace v /etc/default/ifplugd:

- Síťová rozhraní konfigurována manuálně (/etc/network/interfaces). Pouze přikládám svou konfiguraci jako inspiraci pro experimentování:
