    Microsoft představil nové označení počítačů Copilot+. Dle oznámení se jedná se o počítače poskytující funkce umělé inteligence. Vedle CPU a GPU mají také NPU (Neural Processing Unit). Uvnitř představených Copilot+ notebooků běží ARM čipy Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite nebo X Plus.

    Příspěvek na blogu Codean Labs rozebírá zranitelnost CVE-2024-4367 v PDF.js, tj. mj. prohlížeči PDF souborů ve Firefoxu. Při otevření útočníkem připraveného pdf souboru může být spuštěn libovolný kód v JavaScriptu. Vyřešeno ve Firefoxu 126.

    Dobry den preji,

    rano jsem se normalne probudil, ale notebook nechce bootovat:) Stalo se mi to uz asi pred tydnem, pri bootovani se nekolik hodin opakuji tyhle chyby, pak se pres to dostane a fsck to spravil, ted bohuzel se fsck nedari pripojit home partysnu (fsck.ext2: Attempt to read block from filesystem resulted in short read při pokusu otevřít /dev/sda2)

    Notebook je to 6 let stary, takze dokazu pochopit ze odejde disk, ale chci si byt jisty ze je to diskem, at nekoupim pri dnesnich cenach novy a neni to jen nejaka chyba filesystemu... vyzna se v tom nekdo? Kdykoliv se objevi neco takoveho vsichni tvrdi ze je to disk, ale ja si nejsem jist, co googlim ukazuje to jen na chybu FS...

    Jo, vypada to, ze je to chyba disku - viz. hlasky "media error" a "Unrecovered read error - auto reallocate failed". Vypis SMART by ukazal vice.

    Úplně přesně takhle mi selhal disk před několika dny. Taky WD :-) Teď stačí spustit smartctl --test=short a po doběhnutí testu se v --all objeví výsledek. Pravděpodobně s read errorem na nějakém sektoru.

    Mas tam pomerne vela "Current_Pending_Sector" - co su sektory, ktore by mali byt realokovane na inom mieste (pocet takychto sektorov by si mal vidiet v "Reallocated_Sector_Ct") Do isteho poctu ide v podstate o normalne opotrebovanie disku a nemusi znamenat, ze disk "odide" coskoro. Zvlast v notebookoch pri vsetkych tych otrasoch to moze narastat pomerne vysoko. V tvojom pripade by som to priebezne sledoval, ako rychlo ta hodnota rastie - mozno este nejaku dobu disk vydrzi. Pozri napriklad http://smartmontools.sourceforge.net/badblockhowto.html ako taketo problemy rucne "opravit".

    Kazdopadne zalohuj ako tu uz niekto pisal - to koniec koncov treba aj s uplne bezproblemovym diskom :-)

    Jenze co se tedy deje kdyz nastanou ty chyby pri bootovani? Nemuzu kazdy tyden nejak zkouset opravovat filesystem... ze by to mohla byt jen softwarova chyba?

    Navic ta /home partysna nejde ani pripojit a ani na ni pustit fsck...

    Pustil jsem na to badblocks a vypsal mi 4 vadne bloky do souboru (0,1,2,3) - jenze jak ted prinutit e2fsck aby to vzal a oznacil je jako vadne? Kdyz zkusim e2fsck -l list_badblocks /dev/sda2 tak vzdycky skonci na stejne hlasce:

    e2fsck: Attempt to read block from filesystem resulted in short read při pokusu otevřít /dev/sda2
    Mohl by toto být oddíl nulové délky?
    
    asi je to proto ze ty spatne bloky jsou na zacatku? Jak se pres to dostat?

    Pokud to interpretuju spravne tak je dost neprijemne ze ty bloky jsou ze zacatku protoze pak ruzne nastroje (jako tune2fs) nefunguje spravne protoze nedokazi poznat co tam je za filesystem?

    IMHO nepotrbujes tune2fs k nicomu presviedcat - proste prinut disk realokovat sektor s dd a nasledne fsck. Ale kazdopadne ak to je prilis casty problem, bude lepsie vymenit disk.

    Disk už jsem objednal nový (na ebay.es, jsem teď ve Španělsku a v obchodech mi řekli že buď už ATA neobjednávají nebo že by to při těch povodních stálo 120E...)

    to tune2fs jsem chtěl použít k tomu abych zjistil jak velký sektor používá ta partyšna... protože když badblocks vyhodil do souboru čísla 0,1,2,3 tak nevím jak to použít.

    Nemohl bys to prosím s tím dd nějak víc rozepsat - jak ho donutit realokovat bloky? Na začátku každé partyšny jsou nějaké důležité bloky nebo je to jedno?

    Uprimne, nikdy som to nemusel robit osobne. Ale co pozeram ten navod, co som ti poslal vyssie, tak tam autor proste cez dd zapise nuly (co na pozadi sposobi, ze disk realokuje sektor) a nasledne spravi fsck. Moze byt, ze mas proste smolu a tie bloky odisli na takych miestach, ze FS je proste FUBAR..

    Ne, zálohy jsou pro ty, kteří už někdy o data přišli a nechce se jim to podstupovat znova. :-)

    Má rada: odepiš disk, nebo ho používej jen na dočasné soubory či něco na ten způsob, a pořiď nový. Jinak se podělá, až to budeš nejméně potřebovat, a bude z toho průšvih.
    To mi připomíná, jak jsem si pořídil květináč, že v něm budu mít květinu. Opravdu tam byla, ale potom být přestala...

    Odporúčam urobiť zálohu v čo najkratšom čase. Čo má väčšiu hodnotu peniaze za HDD alebo práca. ?

    Máš šťastie v tom, že vôbec niečo hlási problém s HDD. Mne sa tiež pokazil HDD, len s rozdielom, že sa prestál hlásiť v biose. Naštasite sa po pár pokusoch znovu prihlásil, ale to to signal na reklámamciu. Ten disk mal okolo 3500 hodín.

    Takže jsem otevřel bednu, vyčistil a bylo to. Zřejmě moc zaprášený vnitřek a nějaký mikrozkrat? Už jsem se něčím podobným setkal, kdy např vůbec nenajel procesor, tenkrát stačilo profouknout DDR sloty a mělo to stejný efekt.

    JJ, presne tak. Vramci nakladov by som najskor skusil vymenit SATA kabel. Odporucam nekupovat tie najlacnejsie, aspon mne sa to uz par krat vypomstilo. (minimalne si pozri, ako je kvalitne vyrobena koncovka)
