Dotaz: eeepc 900 - wifi - chybi moznost nastaveni

resim problem s wifi - na live distribuci (xubuntu) bezi, ale z instalace (ktera je udelana z te live) na pocitaci nikoliv - lspci wifi najde

http://www.corey-m.com/blog/?p=309 nasel jsem si toto a vyzkousel - od madwifi jsem nakonec dohled drivery dva - jednak madwifi-ng-r366+ar5007, jednak madwifi-ng-r2756+ar5007, nicmene ani jeden se mi dle uvedeneho navodu nepodarilo nainstalovat - zvadne to na casti "make .." kdy dojde na chyby (pripadne pak poslu konkretne jake) - nicmene sirikam, jestli by to nejak neslo vyresit obdobne jako s tou sitovkou - za momentek doplnim informace lspci,lsmod ...

ŘEŠENÍ

Tedy - po castecnem povyseni systemu, ktere skoncilo tak neuspesne, ze pocitac ani nenabootoval (kdoviproc :D) jsem nainstaloval system z live-usb uplne znovu a VSE se nainstalovalo korektne - vcetne lan i wifi.

Neznam tedy "jemne reseni" (bez nutnosti reinstall), ale znam pricinu.

Kdyz jsem naposledy mel zapnuty origo xandros linux, tak jsem zrejme nechtene vypnul wifi (Fn+F2). Timto se zrejme vypne az na urovni biosu. Pri nasledne instalaci xubuntu se pak nenainstaluji nejen ovladace wifi, ale zrejme i sitovky. Resp. minimalne laik jako ja to proste trivialne "neda"

Kdyz jsem nyni provedl instalaci vcetne v biosu zapnute wifi, tak vse probehlo jak ma.

Timto vsem ochotnym dekuji za rady a trpelivost.

Jakou chybu to při kompilaci hodí?

Tip. Máte nainstalován linux-headers-`uname -r`?

chyby pri kompilaci viz nize cast vypisu vynechavam (prostredek - vyzniva to tak, ze se vicemene opakuje jedna chyba)

kazdopadne linux headers tam nejsou, zkusil jsem

$ sudo apt-get install linux-headers-2.6.22-15-generic

linux-headers...generic je již nejnovější verze

kdyz zkusim nainstalovat build-essential - tak mi vyhodi, ze chybi zavisle balicky - samozrejme je mohu pripsat, ale: neexistuje spis pro ubuntu (debian) neco jako yum pro redhat/fedoru - tedy instalator, ktery si zavislosti osetri sam a proste vse potrebne stahne (?)

nasel jsem s i v manualu k apt-get moznost "build-dep"

zkusil jsem sudo apt-get build-dep build-essential, ale blafnul na me vypis, co vsechno hodla odstranit

appport at apt-utils apturl command-not-found ... update-manager update-manager-core xubuntu-desktop

pak tedy sice toho pomerne dost nainstaluje, ale to me tedy dvakrat neutesilo

build-essential debhelper debian-archive-keyring dpkg-dev ... po-debconf

jestli to dobre chapu, tak bych si odstrelil desktopove prostredi

radeji jsem to skretchoval, pac fakt vubec nevim, co jsem se to chystal udelat - mel jsem za to, ze build-dep by mohlo byt to, co jsem chtel vyse (vyreseni zavislosti pri instalaci)

Synaptic - grafická nadstavba apt-get. Pre kompiláciu software zo zdrojových kodov potrebuješ niekoľko balíčkov , hlavne libc6-dev libc-dev, gcc , g++ , make, dpkg-dev , linux-headers-2.6.22-15-generic build-essential bin86, synaptic to to sám aj so závislosťami nainštaluje .Kompiluje sa už málo , ale predsa. Trochu viac MB na harddisku ti hádam nevadí.Zdroje software si nastav na : main, universe, multiverse , restricted.

trosku cross-thread: ad dpkg jsem myslel, ze neresi dependencies ad synaptic - koukal jsem ted do synapticu a madwifi i madwifi tools mam nainstalovane - tak ted uz jen zjistit proc to nefunguje - k tomu se dostanu za par hodin, neb mi na tom ted bezi "castecne povyseni systemu" :D
