V lednu byla ve veřejné betě obnovena sociální síť Digg (Wikipedie). Dnes bylo oznámeno její ukončení (Hard Reset). MALUS je kontroverzní proprietarní nástroj, který svým zákazníkům umožňuje nechat AI, která dle tvrzení provozovatelů nikdy neviděla původní zdrojový kód, analyzovat dokumentaci, API a veřejná rozhraní jakéhokoliv open-source projektu a následně úplně od píky vygenerovat funkčně ekvivalentní software, ovšem pod libovolnou licencí.

Obraz funguje bez většího snažení. Fungují Cheese, Ekiga i Skype.
Mikrofon také funguje. Nahrávat z příkazové řádky lze například pomocí:
arecord -f S16_LE -D hw:2,0 test.wav
Tlačítko na kamerce se mi nepodařilo nijak rozchodit. Možná by to nějak šlo přes evdev ovladač v Xkách. Jediné, co lze z tlačítka získat je následující:

Zaostřování je manuální. Kvalita obrazu i zvuku uspokojivá. Obraz poměrně dobrý i za zhoršených světelných podmínek.
