testy na discích (bez long testu bych ani neuvažoval o zařazení staršího (vlastně ani nového) disku do pole) a jak často na funkčním poli děláte check, kdy se celé pole na všech discích přečte a zkontroluje? bud RH script raid-check

Někdy stačí, když se po letech stabilního provozu za stabilních teplot podmínky radikálně změní, takové úplné vypnutí a vychladnutí po letech točení (nebo manipulace, převoz ...) odpravilo nejeden HDD dosud běžící bez potíží.Souhlas. Po vypnutí serverů se prakticky vždy některé disky ani neroztočí.
To jsi si podle mě nepomohl, hezky ti to zas doputuje zpět, bo záruka výrobce není to samé co debilní eu-či-česká-spotřebitelská záruka, případně nějaká rozšířená záruka od dodavatele.
Pokud jsou tomu dva roky a alza neposkytuje nějakou další záruku, tak se na to asi vykvajzne, s WD jsi to měl řešit.
PS: Pokud to bylo kupované na firmu, tak záruka dodavatele je specifikovaná „někde“ (faktuře/dodáku/smlouvě/OP), ty slavné 2 roky ze zákona jsou irelevantní…
Tohle se neřeší přes prodejce ... prodejce (nejenom Alza) často u disků dává jen 3 roky (někteří i jen 2) + další u výrobce.
Už jsem nějaké HDD, které prodejce (větší distributor než Alza) odmítl, WD posílal a prošlo to.
Ze zákona je (byl) prodejce povinnen ručit jen 24 měsíců pro osobu a pro firmy jen 6. Až s novým OZ se pár detailů mění.
Jinými slovy, když Alza říká, že záruku neposkytuje a je to déle než bylo uvedeno na nákupním dokladu, tak prostě záruku neposkytuje a je zbytečné riskovat poškození disku při přepravě a zbytečné platit přepravu + riskovat naúčtování manipulačního poplatku za neoprávněnou reklamaci (málokdy, ale hrozí). A už jsem zažil i situace, kdy byla reklamace odmítnutá z opravdu malicherných příčin (zrovna u HDD občas vadí i drobné škrábance z montáže a pod. blbosti i když pečetě poškozené nebyly).
Na druhou stranu, přeposláním HDD do WD by mile překvapili, ale nevěřím tomu.
