Dotaz: scanner, nelze vybvorit funkcni node do /dev/usb/scanner

scanner Acer/Benq 3300U S2W. distro - Gentoo.
Mam tenhle skenner uz delsi dobu, spravne funguje na predchozim Gentoo (kernel 2.4.20), na novem Gentoo (kernel 2.6.7) se vse chova jinak.
na starem Gentoo mi sane-find-scanner vypsal

Zvlastni je, ze ROOT neni v tomto nikterak omezovan a MUZE KLIDNE SKENOVAT, dokonce vypis na sane-find-scanner obdrzi jiny a to

zkousel jsem obvykle postupy s mknod c /dev/usb/scanner0 180 48 ale vypis sane-find-scanner se nezmenil, a skenovat jako uzivatel nemuzu.

Pouzivate hotplug? udev? Jinak pochopitelne problem s pravy k danemu zarizeni, celkem nedavno se tady podobny problem resil.

Pouzivam hotplug, ale jestli jsem hotplug dobre pochopil, tak jen zavadi moduly, a kdyz skener normalne funguje pod rootem, tak uz (je|jsou) modul(y) zaveden(y) a v poradku. Proto jsem smerem badani neubiral (stejnetak config kernelu).
Problem s pravy samozrejme, ale ja nevim kde mam prislusna prava nastavit, resp. odkud to tedy ten root sosa?

sice jsem nevytvoril funkcni node v /dev, ale stacilo zmenit prava

chmod 0666 /proc/bus/usb/003/003
