První Linux na této desce jsem použil 3.6.6, který (více méně) fungoval.
Pro korektní zpracování multicastu síťovou kartou je třeba jádro 3.6.8 (commit 4d3440149ead396a3955f08608e535aed0befbc4, r8169: allow multicast packets on sub-8168f chipset). Nutnost pro IPv6.
Pro deterministický boot je třeba 3.8.2 (pravděpodobně commit 9b2eee352d5d276f212b751ad86d3bd4f156fd51, iommu/amd: Initialize device table after dma_ops0). Jinak se bootování zasekne ještě před inicializací grafického výstupu jádra a zůstane jen černá obrazovka se svítícím kurzorem a to vždy po prvním zapnutí desky, kdy je v paměti smetí, až do následujícího vypnutí desky (nikoliv jen resetu).
Teplotní senzory it8603e jsou podporovány od jádra 3.14. Pro starší jádra je třeba opatchovat modul it87.
Doporučuji aktualizovat firmware, výrobce vydává nové verze velmi často, obvykle opravují chyby v UEFI. Verze 6502 (nebo předchozí) opravuje pád při práci s grafickou pamětí, který vede k restartu.
