Dotaz: nx6325 a powernowd

Zdravím, mám menší problém, rozjel jsem vše, včetně čtečky karet, ale jak jsem popisoval v jednom z blogů, kdy používám 32bit na tomto 64bitovém železe, je teplota vyšší cca o 5 stupňů, nejdříve jsem nevěděl proč ale přišel jsem na to že mi nefunguje powernowd. To znamená že procesor se stále drží na 1800MHz. Nejenže systém celkově více topí, ale výdrž baterky je takto minimální. Hledal jsem tady na forech ale moc jsem z toho nevykoukal. Snad jen že mi chybí v jádře nějaký modul. Používám Mandrivu 2007 a nefunguje to jak s normálním distribučním jádrem tak s kernel-multimedia-laptop nebo jak se jmenuje. U 64bitové manrdivy s tím problém není stejně jako nebyl u kubuntu EE. Přidám kousek z dmesg který hlásí APIC error on CPU0: 40(40) Případně dodám celý výpis, bootovat s volbou noapic se mi moc nechce protože potřebuji výdrž baterky. Nevíte někdo co s tím?

Nějak nechápu co má parametr noapic společného se spotřebou ?

Pletete hrušky z jabkama pro spotřebu je důležitá spotřeba komponent tedy funkce ACPI.

APIC se stará o IRQ (zavádí trochu jinou obsluhu přerušení).

APIC = Advanced Programmable Interrupt Controller

Pokud ho zakážete použije se standartní přerušení tak jako u PC AT.

Samozřejmě může při režiji vzniknout větší spotřeba, ovšem tato je zanedbatelná je to pomalu neměřitelné (CPU musí pro obsluhu provést pár instrukcí navíc).

Že by jako první nahrát příslušný modul jádra a spustit příslušného démona ?

no, pokud jsem to dobře pochopil z jiných diskuzí kde se řešili podobné věci tak by to měl být modul powernow-k7 či k8 (asi, jestli zase nepíšu nějakou blbost), což nevím kde najdu.

Sice nevím co pořád všeci máte něco s powernowd ale já nic takového nepoužívám.

Mám AMD 64b a používám modul cpufreq_ondemand.
