Dotaz: Nefunguje síťová karta v Debianu

Zdravím. Po nahrání nového jádra přes aktualizaci systému mi na obou dvou jádrech přestala fungovat síťová karta. Mám Notebook Amilo Pro V3205, a síťovku Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection. Verze Debianu 4, a jádro 2.2.6-686. Zkoušel jsem nastavovat auto dhcp a i static ip, ale nic. Pak jsem si nechal vypsat moduly zavedené v jádru a mám zavedeno mii i e100. Tak jsem je zkusil odebrat a znovu přidat, ale pořád nic. Zkoušel jsem to i ve starším jádru, které jsem si nechal ( 2.2.4-686 ). Jediné co jsem neudělal je rekompilace jádra, protože mi to vypíše následující chybovou hlášku:

Této chybové hlášce moc nerozumím a nic jiného co by jsem mohl udělat mě už nenapadá. Jinak síťová karta je funkční protože mám na notebooku nainstalované i Windows a tam chodí vše bez problémů ( myslím tím síťovka ). Doufám že jsem uvedl všechny potřebné informace a budu vděčný za každou radu. Děkuji

s tím jádrem to je moje chyba 2.6.26 a kde bych měl hledat výpis toho ovladače? poradil by jsi mi prosím? jsem takový trí měsíční začátečník

Co znamena "nefunguje"? Co vypise "ifconfig -a"?

Nefunnguje znamená, že tam sice je, ovladače má, ale když dám aby si údaje zjistila z dhcp tak mi to řekne v network-admin, že síť není dostupná, nebo špatně nastavená, nebo že počítač není připojen, a když údaje zadám na pevno, tak odesílá pakety ale nepříjímá a příkaz ifconfig-a neznám a ani linux ho asi nezná, a ipconfig je příkaz pro cmd, a ekvivalent v linuxu neznám.

Jen tak pro jistotu, protože i takové věci se stávají:
příkaz ifconfig-a neznám a ani linux ho asi nezná
Předpokládám, že mezi "ifconfig" a "-a" máte mezeru

velmi moc se omlouvám, neměl jsem (stydlivý smajlík) jinak, problém jsem vyřešil tak, že jsem tam hodil debian znovu a od rána vše znova konfiguruju, strávil jsem nad tím včera celý den a nechtěl jsem to už dneska řešit, aktualizovat jádro nebudu, a raději si ho zkompiluji sám, zjistil jsem že zatímco 2.6.26 mi nejde zkompilovat (??) tak ..27 jde.

Takže uzavírám můj problém nevyřešený. Opravdu nevím čím to bylo.

Není se za co stydět. Také jsem v minulosti problém řešil podobně.
