    Byla vydána nová verze 1.58 sady nástrojů pro správu síťových připojení NetworkManager. Novinkám se v příspěvku na blogu NetworkManageru věnuje Josephine Pfeiffer. Vypíchnout lze možnost nmtui zobrazit nastavení Wi-Fi jako QR kód nebo podporu CLAT (464XLAT) a tunelů GENEVE (Generic Network Virtualization Encapsulation).

    Zákaz mobilů ve školách vláda podpořila

    Zákaz používání mobilních telefonů a dalších elektronických komunikačních zařízení ve školách, jehož uzákonění navrhli jako poslanci premiér Andrej Babiš (ANO) a ministr školství Robert Plaga (za ANO), dnes podle očekávání vláda podpořila. Novinářům to oznámil Babiš, podle Plagy byla podpora kabinetu jednomyslná. Účinnost předkladatelé navrhují od 1. září 2027. Podle opoziční ODS je plošný zákaz líbivé populistické opatření namířené proti digitální gramotnosti dětí.

    Zranitelnost ve WordPress Core: CVE-2026-63030 s přezdívkou wp2shell

    Vládní CERT upozorňuje (𝕏) na zranitelnost ve WordPress Core: CVE-2026-63030 s přezdívkou wp2shell. Zranitelnost typu vzdálené spuštění kódu (RCE) bez nutnosti autentizace umožňuje útočníkovi spouštět libovolný kód prostřednictvím endpointu WordPress REST API Batch. Ke zneužití není vyžadován platný uživatelský účet ani interakce uživatele. Úspěšné zneužití může vést ke kompletnímu kompromitování webové stránky a souvisejících dat. Zranitelnost postihuje verze WordPress 6.9.0 až 6.9.4 a 7.0.0 až 7.0.1.

    Evropská komise vyměřila AliExpressu pokutu 550 milionů eur

    Evropská komise (EK) vyměřila čínskému internetovému prodejci AliExpress pokutu 550 milionů eur (13,3 miliardy korun) za porušení povinností vyplývajících z nařízení o digitálních službách (DSA). Platforma podle EK řádně neposuzovala a neomezovala rizika související s prodejem nelegálních, nebezpečných nebo padělaných výrobků na svém internetovém tržišti. Komise zároveň firmě nařídila přijmout nápravná opatření. Podle AliExpressu je pokuta nepřiměřená.

    Ruffle, tj. open source emulátor Flash Playeru napsaný v Rustu, byl vydán ve verzi 0.4.0. Ke stažení je také na Flathubu. Přímo ve webovém prohlížeči lze vyzkoušet online dema nebo vlastní swf soubory.

    HollowByte, zranitelnost v OpenSSL

    HollowByte je zranitelnost typu Denial of Service (DoS) v kryptografické knihovně OpenSSL. Útočník může odesíláním škodlivého payloadu o velikosti pouhých 11 bajtů zaplnit paměť serveru. OpenSSL před ověřením dat vyhradí nepřiměřený blok paměti (až 131 KB). Server pak čeká na data, která nepřišla. Zranitelnost je opravena ve verzích OpenSSL 4.0.1, 3.6.3, 3.5.7, 3.4.6 a 3.0.21.

    11 zapomenutých UEFI shim zavaděčů, které umožňují útočníkům obejít Secure Boot

    Výzkumníci ze společnosti ESET objevili 11 zapomenutých UEFI shim zavaděčů, které byly podepsány společností Microsoft, a které umožňují útočníkům obejít ochranu UEFI Secure Boot na většině zařízení. Microsoft je zneplatnil (přidal jejich hash do databáze dbx) v rámci aktualizace Patch Tuesday dne 9. června 2026. Uživatelé Linuxu mohou databází aktualizovat pomocí LVFS. Ověřit zneplatnění zavaděčů lze pomocí skriptu uefi-dbx-audit. Jedná se o CVE-2026-8863 a CVE-2026-10797.

    atheros a opensuse 11.2
    Přečteno: 568×
    Ahij, mam NB s kartou atheros, nainstalovany opensuse 11.2 32bit a KDE4. Problem nastal s pripojenim k domaci wifi siti. Pripoji se, chvili bezi (s ruznou kvalitou) a pak padne. Opetovne pripojeni se nikdy nezdari. Zkousel jsem vypnout sifrovani, zkousel jsem nm-applet misto knetworkmanager, vzudy byl vysledek stejny.

    co tak prolejzam ruzna fora, nabyl jsem dojmu, ze ovladace pro tuhle kartu by uz mely byt OK. Nebo se pletu a musim hledat jina reseni?

    Je něco v dmesg? S gui nepomůžu, sám to zkoušim jen přes příkazovej řádek (iwconfig, iwlist, ip link apod.). Teoreticky byste moh i sledovat online provoz přes program wavemon.

    Nerozumim tomu "association took too long, failing activation" ... jestli to je hláška přímo od network managera nebo od nějaké backendu?

    Ty nejhlubší objevy nečekají nutně za příští hvězdou. Jsou uvnitř nás utkány do vláken, která nás spojují, nás všechny.

    Vsechno je to primo od Network Manageru, stejny veci to delalo i pres gnomi nm. Prave, ze jsem toho taky moc nevygoogloval. Teda krome dopruceni wicd, ndiswrapperu nebo madwifi, ale vetsinou se to vztahovalo ke starsim verzim.

    Odebrat modul a přidat a koukat, jak na to komp reaguje, když je síť mrtvá? V kernelu bych zakompiloval debugování, kdybych to osobně musel řešit. Sám mam nějakej skript pro wpa_supplicant, občas po probuzení ze s2ram ho musim znova spustit, jako by byl potřeba nějakej timeout pro obsluhu hardwaru, případně se z nějakého stavu nedalo dostat ven, dál.

    Přípdně zkuste něco jako "iwconfig wlan0 rts 250 frag 512", používam to v případě nouze a rušení okolím.

    Ty nejhlubší objevy nečekají nutně za příští hvězdou. Jsou uvnitř nás utkány do vláken, která nás spojují, nás všechny.

    Tak jsem nastartoval notes, dal stahovat jedno avicko od sebe ze stranek a po case to lehlo. Odebral jsem modul (modprobe -r ath9k) a zase zavedl a vzapamatovalo se to. Nez to stahlo necele mega, udelal jsem to asi trikrat... To asi znamena, ze to nezvlada ten ath9k, ne?

    No laicky mi to tak přijde. Máte možnost zkusit nějaké live distro, tedy jiný kernel, jinou konfiguraci, zda bude taky tak padat?

    Jak koukam, v kernelu je modul ath9k k "Atheros 802.11n wireless cards support". Třeba intel 3945 v kernelu debug podporuje, vaše ath9k nee.

    Navíc: google mi něco našel na unstable ath9k linux.

    Jo, na ty jsem narazil taky, ale nejak jsem mel za to, ze se to vztahuje jen na Ubuntu. Vyzkousim madwifi, s vlastnim jadrem nemam vubec zkusenosti. Ale nevim kdy, na baterce ma tretinu a ted jsem zjistil, ze kabelem napajeni se skvele vyhazuji pojistky. Bomba, je tejden po zakoupeni :-(

    Vytahuju tohle vlakno zpet, protoze jsem se dostal k tomu zprovozneni. Problem je ovsem v tom, ze pokud vyhodim modul ath9k a zavedu ath_pci, karta umre. Zarizeni proste pro pocitac neexistuje, zhasne dioda signalizujici funkcnost a konec. Stejne vysledky jsem dostal, kdyz jsem zkusil instalovat ovladac z WXP pres ndiswrapper. Ovladac je nainstalovany, ale tim to konci, zadne zarizeni wifi jakoby v notebooku neexistovalo.

    Delam nekde chybu pri instalace madwifi i pres ndiswrapper? Vynechal jsem neco? Proc se modul jevi jako funkcni a zavedeny, ale ignoruje zarizeni?

    Odpovim si sam, ten XP ovladac se po rebootu prihlasil. Dioda sice i nadale nesviti, ale sit jede jako z praku a nepada.
