Dotaz: partition UNKNOWN, grub, lilo

mam velky problem po machinacich s lilem a grubem, mi boot manazer ted lilo, nenabehne windowsy, kdyz nabootuju w98 z diskety a spustim fdisk, tak partisna na ktere jsou windowsy ukazuje souborovy system UNKNOWN, linuxovej fdisk ukazuje WIN95 FAT32, na tom disku s windowsama mam ZIVOTNE DULEZITA DATA, potrebuju nejaky program ktery opravi zacatek windowsove partition, tak aby se dal bootovat, windowsy jsou na /dev/hda1, data nejsou poskozena je zacatek disku se nejak pokurvil, mam linux RH7.3, , PROSIM PORADTE NESMIM PRIJIT O DATA

Asi jste tam udělal skrytý oddíl s těmi win. Spustte fdisk z linuxu a potom příkaz p ve sloupci BOOT musí být hvezdička pouze u jednoho oddílu (u vás asi u win) a ID oddílu musí být b nebo c tj win95 fat32, zapsat na disk, skontrolovat zápis v /etc/lilo.conf a provést lilo.

tady problem nebude, linux fdisk ukazuje v podstate vse v poradku, akorat kdyz dam v verify tak to ukaze 248 unallocated sectors, za to fdisk z boot w98 ukazuje u disku kde jsou windows v polozce SYSTEM -> UNKNOWN a to by tam urcite nemelo byt, v mem pripade ZNICENI DAT JE SEBEVRAZDA, PROSIM PORADTE

a co takhle data zachranit pod linuxem, kde by mela byt bez problemu pristupna, (treba projistotu i zazalohovat na jinej disk/CD-R,...,) a pak zkusit partition znovu udelat a widowsim formatem zformatovat? Pak tam nakopirovat vsechna puvodni data?

Je to srabacke reseni, ale takhle nadalku asi jedine co muzu doporucit a pri cem se na 100% neprijde o data...

Urcite to pujde vyresit i nejak elegantneji, ale riziko je tam imho vzdycky.

trochu sem to rozmnozil, pripojuju se pres winmodem a pada to po peti minutach

Udelej ten výpis v fdisku podrobnější. Až budeš v něm zadej příkaz pro změnu jednotek (nemúžu si vzpomenout jakej to je), ale v nápovědě to určitě bude a pak to sem hoď. Z toho výpisu co tu už je ti moc nepomůžu...

Problém bude v ID oddílu. U /dev/hda2 máte ID f tj WIN extended a nemáte tam rozšířený oddíl s windows, pouze s linuxem. Změňte ID oddílu /dev/hda2 na ID 5 tj pouze extended co to udělá. Viz čísla ID po výpisu l.

Ahoj, muj problem jsem uz vyresil, takze jestli to nekomu pomuze, tak se rad podelim. Potiz je v tom, ze pri instalaci lilo doslo prepsani zacatku partition s win98. Po nabootovani z diskety prikaz dir vypsal vsechny soubory, ale partition nesla presto namountovat do linuxu a samotne win take nenabehly. Nakonec stacilo pouzit v DOS prikaz SYS a: c: pro obnoveni souboru IO.SYS na zacatku partition s WIN98 a vse bezi perfektne. Mozna je to neco jineho nez puvodni problem v tomto threadru, ale snad to nekomu pomuze. Michal Kosata

Ahoj. Mel jsem ted neco podobneho a jdu se vlastne take zeptat na tu samou vec. Bude to v novem prispevku. Je to docela jednoduche jak to dat nazpate. U me to bylo tim, ze jsem mel vice jak tri partitions. Dalo mi to asi dva dny nez jsem na to prisel. Proste v linuxu najed z CD pak dej novou instalaci a vytvor jen tri partitions. Dej to zapsat to MBR. Pak by wokna mela zase najet. Ja jakmele jsem udelal ctyri partitions, tak nechtela najet okna a partition byla unknown. Tak to vyzkousej. Zatim

ad: Partition 1: previous sectors 2038165397 disagrees with total 5908892 takze partition magic? ranish? nebo jiny partition manager? mozna jsou jen blbe id hda1(b) a hda2(5) no a mozna jsou fuc i data, ktera jsou za novou hranici techdle partition... nastavovani v biosu? auto/lba/large/normal u daneho disku? vratit do puvodniho stavu i za cenu, ze nebude fungovat linux a nabootovat widle s disketou zachranit data a pak zmenit na nastaveni, ktere dovoli adresovat celou kapacitu disku. boot manager od vyrobce disku? od toho davam ruce pryc. jestli je to vazne vase prace s lilem, tak teda gratuluji, protoze jsem nevidel, ze by neco takoveho kdokoli dokazal vyrobit.

ehm. mno a nebo ze by prece jen? vsim jsem si rh7.3 to je distro z doby, kdy se v novinach teprve zacaly objevovat zpravy o 10GB discich... pak by to prece jen mohlo byt tim pradedeckem lila nebo grubu nebo ceho vlastne...
