Zdravím Vás přátelé, poslední dobou se mi neustále objevují v logu na serveru kde běží i exim,dovecot pokusy o loginy, něco ve stylu:

Jak bych tomu měl zabránit ? Fail2ban - eliminoval jen 2 IP, učně filtorvat IP z logů a ručně je přidávat do ufw si neodkážu nějak představit, existuje nějaké podobné řešení, děkuji moc.

Fail2ban umí snížit počet pokusů, po jejichž vyčerpání dojde k zabanování. Sám na serveru používám konfiguraci:

[DEFAULT]
bantime = 86400
maxretry = 2
...

Díky moc zrovna se dívám že mám maxretry 5 , čili snížím mezitím jsem odfiltroval přes cca 362 IP... Díky zkusím. Hezký den :-)

Ještě jsem chtěl dodat, že jsem upravil jail.conf + whitelisting IP ze kterých se připojuji atp. Ve stylu:

[DEFAULT] # "ignoreip" can be an IP address, a CIDR mask or a DNS host. Fail2ban will not # ban a host which matches an address in this list. Several addresses can be # defined using space separator. ignoreip = 127.0.0.1 192.168.1.0/24 8.8.8.8

# This will ignore connection coming from common private networks. # Note that local connections can come from other than just 127.0.0.1, so # this needs CIDR range too. ignoreip = 127.0.0.0/8 10.0.0.0/8 172.16.0.0/12 192.168.0.0/16

nyní provedu restart celé mašiny a budu dnes pozorovat vývoj, každopádně děkuji :-)
