The already established Wireless Toolkit Team in Prague is responsible for the development of a new mobile technology for small cell phones and devices with limited memory and processor resources. The team’s most recent product is the Sun JavaTM Wireless Toolkit 2.5, which is a standard in the development of mobile applications. The Wireless Toolkit is an award-winning tool set, which is used to develop mobile applications without having the actual device. It includes a highly capable emulator of the phone device. For optimization, the tool includes a profiler, memory monitor and network monitor, usability and intuitiveness are of great importance. Starting with version 2.5.1, it will support both the Windows and Linux OS environments. The NetBeans user can find the technology implemented and the tool integrated as part of the Mobility Pack.
