Postup zprovoznění pod Linuxem

Vyžaduje jádro 3.16 nebo 3.18* nebo vyšší aby postup fungoval dle článku.

moduly ale zůstanou v paměti, pro správné načtení následného firmwaru není ale třeba moduly odnahrávat ani restartovat.

Pro plnou funkčnost demodulátoru je potřeba stáhnout upravený firmware (druhý), který byl na původním CD (první- dříve emOEM.sys).

Poznámka

Použité v OpenSUSE 13.2 s kernel-desktop-3.16.2, pak i s kklaptop-3.18 kde ale není dostupná mapa pro dálkové ovládání narozdíl od standardního desktop jádra, zase tam ale byla pro mou mobilní grafiku radeon 3650HD dostupná UVD technologie pro hw akceleraci videa (nepodstatné).
Firmware samozřejmě nebude přímo v jádře asi nikdy.
Koupen od eshopu Comfor za 2006Kč v plném balení s anténkou a prodlužovacím USB kabelem (cca 40cm). Dodaný ovladač je plošší, menší (ale s více tlačítky než má Antti) a kvalitně zpracovaný (nemembránový), také je přiložena baterie (plochá a kulatá).
Ovladač jsem v Linuxu zatím nezkoušel zprovoznit, případně dopíšu (až na to přijdu;)).
V době koupě jsem věděl, že experiment s DVB-T2 v Praze skončil, ale chtěl jsem kvalitní tuner s dobrou podporou češtiny a kvalitním softwarem jako dělá AVermedia (platí hlavně pro Windows). Paradoxně software ve Windows mi trochu stávkoval a novější (dostupný cca 582MB) než je na CD jsem nezkoušel.
Update: Software v6.49 (jsou tam už i firmwary pro Linux + Readme) pro Windows stále stejně zamrzá (vytíženost hw jen na cca 15%). ČT 1/2/sport HD (DVB-T H264) v Linuxu (VLC, Kaffeine) je kvalitou jinde (mnohem lepší) než v orig. softwaru pro Windows.

Použitý HW: core2duo 2.4GHz, 4GB, mobilní ATI radeon 3650HD. Vzdálenost od Prahy 50km stejně jako od Ústí nad Labem.
Zkusil jsem i tu přiloženou anténku a k mému překvapení dokázala chytit signál velmi slušně, narozdíl od té od AVeru která nic nechytila. Jinak používám širokopásmovou anténu Thomson se zesilovačem, která je velmi dobrá. Rušení příjmu od mobilního telefonu který je aktivně připojený do laptopu je ve srovnání s minulou kartou* neznatelné, dle mého snad žádné (viz. obr).
Stále mám kartu AVer Volar HX která bohužel už dávno pod Linuxem nechodí.
