Postup zprovoznění pod Linuxem

Instalován je 64-bit Arch linux s bezproblémovou detekcí veškerého HW. K mému překvapení bez jakéhokoliv nastavení naběhly i kompozitní efekty v KDE, stejně tak není problém přehrát full HD video pomocí grafického čipu v procesoru nebo jej poslat přes HDMI kabel do TV včetně zvuku.

První problém je velmi nízká hlasitost zvuku, což je bězné u inteláckých HD zvukovek. Zkusil jsem naslepo doporučované řešení pro zvukovky ALC88x - do souboru /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf stačí přidat options snd-intel-hda index=0 model=3stack-dig.

Další problém, který jsem zaznamenal, je podpora čipsetu v lm_sensors. Nový čip je správně detekován, jenže pro něj ještě není napsán ovladač. Takže na kontrolu teplot a automatickou regulací otáček případných ventilátorů si je třeba počkat. Ne, že by to nějak vadilo, teploty jsou na dotek dostatečně nízko a boxovaný ventilátor procesoru i ty ve skříni nejsou vůbec slyšet.

Update:lm_sensors použilo/upravilo ovladač w83627ehf a už se správně detekují veškerá napětí, teploty i otáčky větráčků.
