Dotaz: Fedora-HP nx6110 a druhý monitor

Ve Fedoře jsem si nastavil pomocí system-config-display druhý monitor, ale problém je, že po připojení kabelu monitoru k notebooku se monitor ani nerožne. Tady je xorg.cfg:

já na svým notebooku HP 6125 vždycky po přípojení ext. monitoru restartuju Xka ctrl-alt-backspace

Magie - zavři a otevři notebook, případně tuto akci proveď po stisku Fn+F4... Mě to pomohlo u promítačky.

Tak teď už se mi monitor zapne, ale mám na něm to samé co na displeji notebooku a já bych chtěl, abych měl monitor jako druhý displej.

Bojím se, že bys k tomu potřeboval dva grafické adaptéry. Ty na jednom čipu sice nebývají raritou, lowendové integoravné grafiky od Intelu jimi ale podle mě nedisponují.

Věřím, RADEONy mají dva "display controllery"...

A zkusil jsi MergedFB? Pred nejakou dobou jsem na nc6000 pouzival Xineramu ve stejne konfiguraci jako ty, ale behem betaverzi Ubuntu Dapper (zrejme s prichodem xorg 7.0) mi sama od sebe prestala fungovat. Presel jsem na MergedFB a "dualhead" funguje v poradku - akorat je potreba mit pripojeny externi monitor uz pri startu xorg.

Není MergedFB jen pro Radeony a navíc jen dualheadové?
