Dotaz: DVDFab alternativa na linuxu ?

Zdar, existuje pro linux dvd ripper s funkcnosti DVDFab decrypteru z win? Jde mi hlavne o novejsi Sony ochrany jako ProtectDVD, ARccOS...

DVDFab decrypter funguje ve wine (0.9.37). Na linuxovou alternativu jsem nenarazil.

Nejnovejsi HD verze se sice spusti ale po zmacknuti Start se nic nedeje, zkusil jsem starsi verzi a ta funguje pod wine OK.

A jak je to v K3b? Tam to ripování přes ty ochrany nepustí?

Many newer Sony DVDs have ARccOS protection, which causes most programs to hang in the first few hundred megabytes on some corrupted sectors. VLC is able to rip these with this command:

# vlc dvd:/dev/dvd@1 --sout "#standard{access=file,mux=ps,dst=/home/user/file.ps}"

The downside to this method is that it is considerably slower than ripping with other tools, but it is the only native linux tool that can rip these DVDs.

Já používám K9copy a zatím jsem nenarazil na žádný problém .... teda když pominu Vinetou II

Nejnovější K9copy mi ochranu Arcoos neskouslo, po nějaké době správného ripování se zasekne a po chvíli zahlásí chybu čtení média. U filmů od Sony je to poměrně časté.
